00:00Welcome or welcome back to my I tried it series recently
00:03I came across an article that was written by the penny hoarder and in this article it discussed how you can bring in extra money
00:09By downloading certain apps and playing them or using them after I saw this
00:14I knew I had to go in and actually give these a try. So without further ado, let's get into it
00:20Okay, the very first suggestion that they gave was this app here called solitaire master now
00:25I downloaded this app and I learned a few things about the app
00:28For example when you first sign up they do give you some bonus money
00:32but the money cannot be used to cash out the money can be used to play games with you also get a
00:38Daily bonus for logging in every single day and after seven days in a row you get an extra bonus as you can see here
00:45They gave me really quickly five dollars and thirty cents to start in a tournament for free
00:51Now, let me explain a little bit about how this specific one works
00:55They work off of prize pools and you have to pay to enter into one of these tournaments to possibly win
01:02The prize pool of what this basically means to me is that it's gambling
01:07So up first they will give you five dollars and thirty cents to do a game for free
01:12But after that if you don't win it
01:15You are going to have to start depositing some of your own money now for a prize pool of let's say five twelve
01:23$60 you could win five twelve or sixty dollars
01:28However, you can end up losing the five dollars you paid to play
01:32So basically it's like going down and buying a lottery ticket for me
01:36This money-making app is basically a waste of time
01:39If I want to gamble I'll just go down to the lotto machine and buy a ticket there now up next the penny hoarder
01:45Suggest an app called cash kick. This can also be found on desktop computer
01:50Now cash kick is similar to another one that I tried that did work and I am going to talk about later on in this
01:55Video, but essentially they give you many different ways to earn like playing games taking surveys taking advantage of rebate
02:02So signing up for different items such as products
02:05Subscription services things to that nature and then getting a rebate for signing up with those companies now
02:11I did want to try signing up here with different services so I could see if I actually do get a rebate
02:17I specifically chose this one for blue apron as you can see
02:21They are offering a $20 bonus for signing up with a subscription
02:26Additionally, they have the first subscription I found out is really discounted. However blue aprons
02:32Pretty pricey. I found it. It's kind of expensive
02:36So you may want to be sure to go in and cancel it after you sign up for some of these things
02:41But anyway, I still haven't received that bonus and cash kick
02:45I did read that it can take a few days for it to actually show up and that you do need to make sure that
02:51The apps are synced and you are allowing data to be synced
02:55They will give you a prompt to accept and allow that which I did accept and allow it
03:00So hopefully I'm gonna get that $20 rebate. I haven't got it yet, though

03:05moving on to the third app that this blog post suggested this app is called solitaire smash and
03:11Solitaire smash is extremely similar to the solitary master, but there's just slight differences
03:17So for example, whenever you sign up they give you bonus gems and not bonus money other than that
03:23It's basically the same they give you daily gem bonuses for logging in every day after seven days
03:28You get a specific bigger bonus gem for logging in for seven days in a row
03:33But to begin playing you already guessed it. This is like a prize pool
03:37It's basically gambling you have to pay money and gems to enter into a tournament
03:43That has a prize pool that you can possibly win now. Let's say you are an extreme genius
03:50With the game solitaire. You're so good. You're an extreme wizard and you just know you're gonna beat every other
03:59Possible person online. This would be an amazing way to go. But if you're not sure this is gambling
04:05Okay, number four that was suggested is bingo cash now bingo cash was my personal favorite to play because I like bingo
04:12I find it really relaxing and fun to play this specific one was relatively similar to the others
04:17They give you daily bonuses all that kind of stuff. I did play some games and win some games like you can see here
04:25however
04:26Eventually it did get to the point where it said, okay
04:29You've got to add money to continue playing
04:32alright moving on to number five and number five is one that I have tried and made an entire video about and
04:40It works it works in a different format than all of the above except for cash kick in which it's extremely
04:48Similar to I did actually make money
04:50I withdrew the money from it in a video that I specifically posted on this channel that says it works

05:01I'm not gonna talk too much more about it because that whole video is all about free cash
05:06Okay, the sixth and last app that the penny hoarder
05:10Recommended is an app called Clio now
05:13Essentially Clio here connects to your bank and helps with things like budgeting and savings along with building credit
05:21However in the blog post it says that you can make money from this app by receiving cash
05:28advantages, which is such
05:31terrible false
05:32Advertisement now, let me just say that if you have to use cash advantages
05:37If you are in dire need like you have to eat or you're gonna die, you know
05:43Seriously that dire of a situation. Okay, don't think that I'm coming after you
05:48I would never use Clio just for the simple fact that they put this on their app your advances here
05:54Guess who just got richer? That's a complete lie
05:57What it should say is your advances here
06:00Guess who just got poor the reason for this is because to get an advance on your own money
06:05You have to pay a fee so you are basically paying
06:10for your money now if you have to pay a bill in advance and you have
06:15Absolutely, no money in your account and the bill is due you're gonna get a $50 late fee. Okay
06:21There's so many obstacles and angles to this
06:24But just don't falsely advertise it as you just got richer because you're getting a cash advantage
06:30In fact cash advantages will keep you poor and will keep you in being poor and in a poor cycle
06:37So let's just be clear that people who have their money together
06:42Don't use cash advantages if you need to pay bills and you have one job and you're going to be late if you don't pay
06:48Them go back and watch my door dash video. You can do door dash all
06:53Flexible all hours of the night basically make yourself to 50 to 100 bucks that you need to pay the bill
06:59Don't pay slimy scammy companies like Clio who wants your money?
07:04One of the only good things I saw about Clio is the fact that they have a four point eleven percent AP
07:10However, SoFi is the bank that I use and highly recommend
07:13I think it's the best bank on the market if there was a better one. I would definitely personally be using it
07:18However, I feel SoFi is the best bank. They offer up to four point six zero percent on your money and a
07:26$325 bonus just for signing up. I'll put a direct link in my description box down below
07:31Use them and stay away from Clio all in all do I think apps are a legit way to make money?
07:37It depends on the app really it depends on the platform. It depends on the features
