00:02literally, when they won gold in the shooting

00:04in the first gold medal event of the games,

00:07taking the 10 meter air rifle mixed team shooting.

00:11Then they quickly added another gold

00:14with Chang Yanni and Chen Yiwen,

00:16topping the podium in the three meter

00:18springboard synchro diving final.

00:20China's diving team aiming for a perfect

00:23eight out of eight gold medal haul in diving

00:26that's never been done before.

00:27Today, it was a perfect start for China, too,

00:30as Xie Yu claimed the men's 10 meter air pistol gold,

00:34and they had a silver in the archery,

00:37bronze in freestyle swimming in the relay,

00:40and so much more to come.

00:41China right up there in first or second place

00:44over the last couple of days of competition

00:47on the medal table, and it's only just beginning.
