00:00Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to juggle a soccer ball for beginners.
00:05For step 1, start in a seated position with your feet set flat and the ball out in front of you.
00:10Lift your legs and practice making contact with the shoelace portion of your foot.
00:15Next, drop the ball from the same seated position and kick back into your hands.
00:20By dropping the ball from a seated position first, it gives beginners a greater chance of success,
00:25as there's less distance between hands and feet.
00:27For step 3, we'll do the same thing but now from a standing position.
00:33Be sure to maintain proper form and alternate between right and left foot.
00:38Next, progress to two juggles in between catches. Aim to keep your touches near waist level.
00:45For step 5, eliminate the use of your hands and use a bounce in between touches.
00:50The key here is to start building a rhythm and a feel for keeping the ball up consistently.
00:54And finally, when you're comfortable, give it a go with no bounces.
