00:00And that decision has allowed three of my eight Bitcoiners to challenge the constitutionality of taxing Bitcoin for the 2020-2024 year.
00:17I am telling you today that I will never, ever sign a law that taxes the direct ownership of Bitcoin.
00:24I will use my power to reverse any law that does so. I will end the Biden administration's war on Bitcoin.
00:36After Bitcoin is not only critical for citizens, but citizens' financial autonomy, freedom, and privacy is essential.
00:44To keep it decentralized and democratic has to totally be created into me.
00:50Finally, Bitcoin guarantees property rights with freely transacted Bitcoin.
01:02No government will be able to confiscate or tax your wealth at the border.
01:08This is another example of Bitcoin's hostility as a weapon against totalitarianism.
01:14So as this election cycle starts to heat up, you have voices in it.
01:20You've heard what I've proposed to do. Let's compare that to what my Republican opponent proposes.
01:27And I welcome President Trump knowing his stance for Bitcoin.
01:32But he's only making it into the Bitcoin dialogue.
01:35And I could add to Trump's thinking longer, but hopefully his learning curve will mirror the kind that I went through.
01:44My guess is that, initially at least, there's going to be a lot of talk about pricing and how it can heat up government policies and make Bitcoiners wealthy.
01:55But we all know that that is just one of the minor points of Bitcoin.
01:59Bitcoin is about something much bigger.
02:08Bitcoin is about our souls. It's about our values.
02:13The price of wealth each year is the lease of all of its assets.
02:19President Trump has a long way to go to explain how his personal values align with those of Bitcoiners.
02:30If he doesn't do that, then we don't really have any assurance, do we?
02:36That his endorsement is not another ephemeral monetary policy fed to shore.
02:45That assurance will require him to repudiate some of the central policies of his last administration.
02:53Early years of my past, President Trump has consistently sold out of Bitcoin.
02:59In December 2020, he was told that he had sold to Bitcoin and tried to outlaw its self-consistent laws.
03:08This was a time when Americans, particularly people with anti-monetary history,
03:12needed any sort of value that they could get to compensate to their income.
03:19From the lockouts, to the decline in purchasing power, to the money printing orgy, and the COVID closures of all of our businesses.
03:30In 2021, President Trump took down the conservative Bitcoin.
03:35It just seems like a scam. I don't like it because it's another currency for me to invest a dollar.
03:42I'm happy that President Trump has had this evolution.
03:46I'm proud that I helped lay the trail and make it easier for other political leaders to follow.
04:00And I'm grateful that 50 or 60 million Bitcoiners, like Michael Stelter,
04:06who were there for me and helped me understand the nation-saving potential of Bitcoin.
04:15Every Bitcoiner I know shares my own yearning for freedom,
04:20where there are no skepticism toward official orthodoxies and renouncements,
04:26and an inclination for political thinking that I most admire.
04:31Hurry, beloved, because neither President Trump nor President Biden protect our constitutional rights.
04:36They close the strict barriers to assemble.
04:39Don't worry, they close our churches, our funerals, our camps, and our weddings.
04:44They close our businesses without due process or compensation, violating the Fifth Amendment.
04:50And they ended the Seventh Amendment rights to jury trials.
04:54They assaulted the Fourth Amendment prohibition against warrantless search and seizures,
04:59and also all these administrations.
05:01Allowed the FBI to spy agencies to suppress our right to free speech,
05:07by working with social media companies to de-platform people.
05:12Look what this guy's come to us.
05:14I hope President Trump's change of heart in Bitcoin is evidence of a newfound and easy commitment
05:23to personal freedoms, to our Constitution, to our Bill of Rights.
05:29Will President Trump fight for Bitcoin as he's elected?
05:33I wish he didn't have to keep Bitcoin in the RRC's custody.
05:37I'm disappointed.
05:39He spent a lot of last week attacking President Bukele of El Salvador,
05:44the only country on a Bitcoin standard.
05:48President Bukele is the most popular president in El Salvador's history.
05:53And with Bitcoin's help, he has turned the country around.
05:57Bitcoin helped him grow the economy and reduce crime.
06:01The U.S. should want to take a page from President Bukele's labor
06:06and learn some lessons from the Constitution.
06:15And even more alarming, President Trump, in an interview last month with Bloomberg,
06:21floated the idea of bringing on Jamie Dunlap as his Secretary of Treasury.
06:29I'm grateful that President Trump yesterday walked back that comment,
06:33but I'm not sure how he could ever consider bringing on one of the biggest
06:39long-term, long-time critics of Bitcoin.
06:43And the world's all going to have to get re-centralized at all
06:47if he truly is committed in his soul to the freedom and decentralization
06:53that we all are connected to.
06:57Those voices don't match the spiritual violence of Bitcoin.
07:04Bitcoin represents.
07:10And seriously, I would rather see something like Michael Saylor
07:15or Caleb Long as Treasury Secretary.
07:18They are brilliant. They are encyclopedic.
07:30They're forward-thinking. They deeply love our country.
07:34And they represent the ideals of decentralization and economic democracy.
07:40Finally, President Trump had for years, had for years,
07:44had to pardon Russell Burke and Sidney LeSage and Elliot Woodson.
07:49And he did do it.
07:52And we need to ask ourselves why.
07:54I've already looked into those cases, and I continue to pardon them all until I'm done.
08:03This election year, I encourage you to study your choices, look at the candidate's policy.
08:17More important, look at their actions.
08:20Decide if they are genuinely part of the problem or if they are part of the solution.
08:27Decide if they align with what you believe in and who you are.
08:31Remember where you see and remember what America sees and what we want.
08:38And then vote accordingly.
08:40I want you to take a core belief in the Bitcoin community.
08:45Bitcoin is a currency of freedom, a currency of liberty, a currency of hope.
08:51It restores self-esteem back to the individual, which is the whole purpose of American democracy.
08:58It gives us individual property rights, which is the core of our democracy.
09:02And it provides a score of values that will allow middle-class Americans to live in abundance again.
09:09I want to be the president who can bring back hope.
09:13And I'm grateful to be part of your Bitcoin community.
09:17In fact, I don't think of myself in red.
09:21I don't think of myself in blue.
09:23And I don't even think of myself as purple.
09:26Those are the colors of political parties.
09:29Instead, I think of myself as orange.
09:32How is it?
09:56How is the color of freedom?
10:01And it's true that President Trump has orange hair.
10:07And I can only admire him in that from afar.
10:10I'll never even imagine I've had.
10:13It's a really great start.
10:15But I'm an orange heart.
10:17And I'm a Jesus heart.
10:19Thank you all very much.
