00:00Well, we were originally this was gonna be a television show and then the

00:03pandemic hit and you know everything changed overnight and then Michelle went

00:06off and did everything everywhere all at once, won an Oscar, then everything

00:10really changed. But she was relentless, relentless about wanting to do

00:15section 31 and come back and play Philippa Cho again and so we decided we

00:18were gonna do a movie which was gonna fit her schedule and and and then you

00:23know right out of the gate I was like well if we're gonna do a movie Tunde has

00:26to direct it because he's amazing and he was you know he kind of carried

00:31discovery on his back for a long time. Yeah. And that's how it started. Yeah.

00:37What made you say yes? Well because he asked me and what a wonderful incredible

00:46opportunity to be able to do a Star Trek and to do a movie and it's not

00:51something you know one takes for granted. I grew up watching as a kid and it's

00:55like oh my goodness and now I get to do movie and get to have all these

00:58incredible characters that get to do things that we don't normally get to see

01:02in a Star Trek for section 31. Yeah. So yeah it was you know and and it was it

01:07was a lot of fun to you know working with Michelle on Discovery and then

01:11working with Michelle here and you know it's essentially three different

01:14characters that I've gotten to work with her on because there's an evolution you

01:18know it's a prime Michelle and then there's the mirror Michelle you know and

01:22then there's this evolution where there's a third Michelle that has a

01:26nuance and and a lot of complexity that combines both characters into this

01:31essentially third one you know. So yeah it was it was it was an easy yes.
