00:00Early in the 5th millennium BC, a group of raiders swept west across the steppes.

00:46For thousands of years she roamed the earth, learning and teaching and fighting, always
00:53compelled to move on.
00:55For thousands of years she searched for another to share the blessing and curse of immortality.
01:02And for centuries she found no one.
01:05Then she dreamt of a woman, seen at first only in bits and fragments.
01:11With time, Andromache the Scythian came to believe she was not alone.
01:16It took more than a century to find her, but when she did, both women knew one truth.
01:24Neither would have to be alone ever again.
01:28Her name was Quinn.
01:32Seven hundred years later, during Alexander the Great's conquest of Judea, they found a third.

01:46With Andi to lead them, they walked the world, lending their arms in skill and battle, eternal

02:59Forced by circumstance to put their enmity on hold, the two discovered more in common

03:14Over the next five hundred years, this group of four immortals travelled far and wide,
03:19seeking those fights and causes they felt worthy of their unique gifts.
03:25As a tide of religious hysteria moved across Western Europe, they followed it, attempting
03:30to protect the lives of those innocents caught up in the madness of the persecution.
03:35After rescuing a group of women about to be burned as witches, Andi and Quinn found themselves
03:41clung by the neck for their crimes.
03:43Yusuf once again refused the two women.
03:46To those watching, it only confirmed what they suspected.
03:50Andi and Quinn were clearly agents of the Infernal.
03:54If they would not die, the priest concluded, a fitting imprisonment was required.
04:09Led by Joe and Nicky, before the same fate could fall upon Andi, they searched desperately
04:14for Quinn.
04:16Plagued by regret and guilt, Andi was never able to forgive herself for abandoning her
04:22first and oldest friend.
04:29In 1812, a convicted forger named Sebastian Le Livre was given a choice.
04:35He could die in prison, or he could die for the Emperor's glory in France.
04:41Finding neither option to his liking, he attempted to leave Napoleon's army in the winter of

04:46A fourth option presented itself when he was hung for desertion.
04:50Booker's education, intellect and curiosity made him a much needed addition to the team.
04:57Better adapted to the rapid changes of the Industrial Revolution, he provided new direction
05:02and greater anonymity as the team began the 20th century as guns for hire.
