00:00Yeah, I get beautiful every single day, so that's just, that's a regular Monday, you know, nothing special for the competition, just gorgeous as always.
00:12Always good to stay moisturized. Skin is really important.
00:16You know, I've been saying I carry a lot of lotion with me and I feel like just making sure my skin is moisturized because being in a pool for, you know, a long amount of time definitely dries it out.
00:26I like to apply niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to my face. Being a swimmer, we get very, very dry skin.
00:34Funny enough, in the pool, we use a lot of diaper rash. I mean, we use a lot of Burt's Bees to be honest.
00:40Burt's Bees lip balm. I can't go anywhere without lip balm. Otherwise, I feel like I look crusty and I'm not ready for the day.
00:46I have this lip balm. It's Burt's Bees. This has been in my duffel bag for a very, very long time.
00:52A nice chapstick will do the job. A good aquaphor, whether it be the lip balm or the tube, it's so good.
00:59Definitely sunscreen. Over the summer, we're shooting a lot outside and I like my freckles, but I don't like to be burnt, so definitely sunscreen is really good.

01:10Definitely sunscreen. Gotta protect your skin from the sun for sure.
01:13I'm a big sunscreen person. I think that's incredibly important to make sure you're not getting sunburned.
01:18Sunscreen. I gotta apply sunscreen. Soccer is an outdoor sport and you gotta be safe. Gotta protect the skin.
01:24Before the races, I wanted to be flat. Also, those were moments and times of affirmation for me because I used to always tell myself,
01:32look good, feel good, run good. For me, it was like putting the makeup on and stuff was kind of like my war paint.
01:37My morning routine, I love skincare and makeup. My boyfriend, my fiance, Aaron, he calls it my warrior paint because I literally get up.
01:46It's like our races are early in the morning, but yes, I'm getting up at five in the morning to take that time not to rush it.
01:52I firmly believe in look good, feel good, and you're gonna race good.
01:55Right after the Olympics, I did a commercial for Alberto VO5 and it went like this.
02:00I'm in the water seven days a week. Great for my body. Tough on my hair.
02:04My hair was a rat's nest. I would pull it up into a knot after I was done swimming.
02:10I never, ever thought about makeup or sunscreen or anything like that. If I could go back and change things, I probably would.
02:18No, I actually usually keep it pretty basic. I wear my earrings, put my hair up, and that's about it.
02:24Usually it's really early in the morning, so if your girl washes her face and puts lotion on, it's a good day.
02:30I put on China gel all over my upper body, which is kind of like icy hot.
02:38I fix my hair. Yeah, fix my hair. That's about it.
02:41You gotta cut your nails because you're also a scratch people, so I will cut my nails, but I don't have any nail clippers to recommend.
02:47If someone wants to give me some, I'll take them.
02:49Oh, what is it called? Oh, my God. I use it every day. Palmer's, for sure.
02:54So that keeps the skin nice and smooth.
02:58Everybody say I don't look like a boxer, so that's a great thing. I don't know what a boxer is supposed to walk around looking like.
03:03I don't have any beauty routines, but the health routine is I get good sleep.
03:07Sleep works in 48-hour cycles, guys.
03:09If you wake up after 12 hours of sleep and wonder why you're tired, it's because you got bad sleep the night before that.
03:14Make sure you get good sleep 48 hours before you have some big meeting, event, competition, and then also the night of, of course.
03:21But most important is 48 hours before.
