00:02It feels like showing up to a party right when it is like raging at its height, you know?
00:08Like these guys built the most incredible show and world and fan base and getting to come in when it's
00:14honestly like riding this high of success is incredible. It's also this moment as well being
00:21here for Comic-Con, it feels like it's getting to celebrate that growth with them and what they've
00:25all built together and it's just an honor to be a part of it.
00:28What has the fan response to the show been like for you?
00:30You know, for the most part it's been so great because I really, personally playing Firecracker,
00:35I appreciate how much people understand the satire and appreciate the satire, you know?
00:40Like the fans get it and I mean they're on board for just the insanity of the show.
00:49Did you study any similar commentators before taking on Firecracker?
00:54I mean, I didn't really have to. It's pretty unavoidable and also I really leave that to
01:01the writers as an actor and as I think all the actors on the show have to do is we sort of have,
01:07we play these characters on a number of levels. There's the commentary kind of level,
01:10there's the performance level of like the soups and then there's the grounded more human
01:13inside that, right? And so with Firecracker, who is such a parody, it would be easy to lose her
01:20in that and so I actually tended not to look outside or in the news for inspiration. I tried
01:28to keep her as grounded in herself, in her backstory as possible.
01:32Heading into the final season, what are your hopes for Firecracker?
01:35I mean, I hope she dies. She hasn't coming from many people. She's awful. She's horrible.
01:41I hope she dies. I hope it's not because of the meds because that seems too easy.
01:47Yeah, I mean, it should be Sage, right? It should be Sage and then she should survive
01:52and have a spinoff.
