Transcript
00:00I'm George Priest from Portland, Fulwell, joined by boxing legend, medical legend and all-round superstar, Natasha Jonas.
00:09I've come off the back of BBC's Five Live panel live at Punch Tarnies with Steve Bunce and Callum Smith.
00:15Do you enjoy these things? Do you love the fans? Do you like to see them?
00:21Yeah, no, I enjoy myself. Obviously just having a laugh and interacting with the fans is always great.
00:26And I can't be wrong, because the subject's about yourself, so you can only just say what it is and say how it is.
00:34It's fun, and it's a nice thing with Callum. Again, I was following him.
00:38So we'll follow the room until Gary gets back.
00:41Yeah, I mean, I'd like to, because I know you've had the time out of the room for boxing calls,
00:46and you've got a bit more talking about it, but we don't want to work yourself out.
00:51How was Sunday? Did you enjoy the Euros? I mean, the weather's not been great at all, but at least the football's been good.
00:57No, I enjoyed the Euros. To be fair, I didn't think it was a great time at the start.
01:03I thought a lot of teams that I expected to play better didn't.
01:07But the lads did really well, and I was supporting them all the way.
01:11And yeah, I've been taking little weekends away with my little girl and enjoying a holiday.
01:17They've got a holiday coming up on Sunday.
01:19I've had a good time, even though there's not been much on here.
01:22I've been going away and getting it, which is what you have to do when you come here.
01:26I have to say, from the Caleb Mayer fight, it was absolutely sensational.
01:31Some of the shots were mad, and the excitement of the 27 boys in the stadium.
01:35It was just a sensational fight.
01:37I mean, you just saw very quickly just what are your simple goals for the rest of your career?
01:44One, two, three.
01:48I think it's to go out with a band.
01:50I'd love, at some point, to be able to get a free ticket.
01:54That's a personal thing to me. That's the fight that I really want.
01:58That's the fight the fans want to see.
02:01We've had one professional fight.
02:03Yeah, I'm close to the bush, but I think we deserve to have fun as well.
02:07I rely a lot on what happens with Erin and Serrano, and whether she wants to continue or not.
02:12Yeah, that's the fight I want, and we're going to see whether we can win a professional championship.
02:17I hope we see that fight as well.
02:20I asked Callum this question.
02:22It's the Mount Rushmore of Liverpool boxing.
02:24Some of the most iconic, best lines from Liverpool, in your opinion.
02:29Be humble, if you want. I forced Callum into that, to get on his feet.
02:33What did he say?
02:34He said, Conte, Bellew, you.
02:38I forced him to throw one of the Smith brothers in.
02:41He didn't say himself, I said him.
02:44Gosh, I'd say the four Smith brothers.
02:48I mean, there's room for you on there. There has to be.
02:52I do have some quickfire questions.
02:54They're just bites from the nose.
02:56Five bites, pick the winner.
02:58No reason.
02:59Gosh, I'm so bad at picking the winner.
03:01Go on, we'll have a go.
03:03You're used to it, pretty much.
03:06I don't know if I like this.
03:08That'd be interesting.
03:10AJ and Duvall.
03:11AJ.
03:12That was very cool.
03:15Joe Joyce for Doja Zora.
03:17Joe, great.
03:19Joshua Baratze does this very often.
03:22Good fight.
03:25What did you say, Baratze?
03:27Last one, Josh Kelly, obviously.
03:29Josh Kelly.
03:30You've met Liverpool.
03:31Thank you so much for your time, and good luck the rest of the year.
03:33Nice to see you in those big fights.
03:35Thank you.
