00:00This will come on to some signings Leeds have made, they've made a couple in the last few
00:08days and weeks and they are Joe Rothwell and in particular Jayden Bogle from Sheffield
00:14United who is a first choice right back. Now we've spoken at length in recent weeks Lee
00:19about the need for a right back, of course you've had Sam Byram there, but we always
00:26said or especially you said that they could do with someone else being in that role to
00:31cover because if Byram gets injured or if he doesn't go up to standards then what do
00:35they do in that position, especially now that Archie Gray has gone who did play a lot of
00:39his season there last year. So they've got him and so it's a box ticked isn't it?
00:47Yeah he's a big signing I think Jayden Bogle and I think probably at a pretty good price
00:51as well around about ÂŁ5 million. He's still only 23 years old, he's good age, you know
00:55like obviously a lot of developing to do, he's probably without a doubt got his best
00:59years ahead of him. Loads of Premier League experience, 50 Premier League games and five
01:04goals, gets forward as I say even scoring those five goals at that level I think he'll
01:08offer a goal threat. He's the sort of player that I think will be very, well obviously
01:12he's going to be first choice right back, but I think if Leeds do start going for wing
01:15back system as well at some point, whether it's all the time or just at some points in
01:19games I think being a wing back will really, really suit him as well. And as I say they
01:23got him basically for that price because he only had one year left on his deal at Sheffield
01:27United and it was quite telling I felt that Chris Wilder was talking about his departure
01:32and sort of you know like not particularly happy about it really, which he's not going
01:35to be because I've lost a very good player, but he basically said that you know the contracts
01:39offer was there for him but you can't like sort of like tie him down and say to give
01:43him the pen and say look you've got to sign this. At the end of the day he saw his future
01:47elsewhere, he saw his future at Leeds United and you know as I say I think he's a very,
01:51very good signing and it was definitely one that was needed. I mean as I say whether or
01:55not whether or not you know Daniel Farker went with three at the back in that friendly
01:58because of the lack of fullback options, yeah possibly I think a lot of people do think
02:02that might be the case but it isn't the case now. They're still not exactly flush with
02:05fullbacks it's got to be said, but I mean you'd like to think now that you know somewhere
02:10around about there I mean Bogle will be first choice right back, Firpo will be first choice
02:15left back and then you've got Sam Byron who you know a player I've got a lot of time for
02:19I think he's a very, very useful player to have because he always does his bit basically
02:23he's always solid and he can play it right back or left back and even he played a bit
02:28at centre back in that pre-season friendly. Again it just depends on what system they're
02:32going to go with because obviously Dan Jaynes can play as a wing back, you know we saw Nonto
02:36there as a wing back so there are players that you can sort of like play in these positions.
02:40Werber obviously has come back, Max Werber and he's I don't know whether he's a centre
02:44back or left back, a centre back I suppose but he can play left back so they're all sort
02:47of intertwining parts really but you know and a lot of sort of like you know what if
02:51will happen in terms of formations but what is definitely not in doubt is that he's a
02:56very, very good signing.
