00:00Assalam-o-Alaikum, dear viewers, welcome to the program.
00:13Today, you can see on your television screens from the morning,
00:17a protest call has been made by the Islamic Community.
00:21And this call has been made because of the rising electricity prices
00:26and especially the issue of IPPs, the issue of capacity payment,
00:31which we are seeing, there is a great debate on this issue,
00:35and it should be, because on the basis of capacity payments,
00:40billions of dollars are being taken out of the pockets of the poor.
00:46And the way they are being taken out, I think it was necessary to debate on this.
00:51And the Islamic Community had already called for a protest on this.
00:55And in Islamabad, you can see that the sensitive areas have been cordoned off.
01:00And of course, it says 144 here.
01:03There is no permission for such shrines.
01:05So the workers who are coming out are being arrested.
01:09This is the situation in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
01:11We will try to find out the situation in other cities as well.
01:14What is the real issue of IPPs?
01:17We will talk about the real challenge of IPPs.
01:21We have Hafez Ehsan Ahmed with us.
01:24We will talk to him.
01:26I was looking at the two excellent columns that you have published.
01:32IPPs, Economic and Legal Challenges.
01:35Hafez Ehsan Ahmed Khokhar.
01:37And one, How to Fix the Power Sector.
01:40This is a big issue.
01:42We have been hearing about this for the past 20 years.
01:45And some work has been done on this.
01:48The previous government also tried to renegotiate the contracts.
01:54We are told that the common Pakistani has sovereign guarantees.
01:59And with sovereign guarantees, the hands of the government of Pakistan are tied.
02:03They cannot do much on this.
02:05So, in one column, you were reading that some agreements will continue until 2050.
02:14And if you do not take any action on this, it will continue for a long time.
02:21And the way we are suffering, we will have to suffer.
02:24Viewers, it is very important to say that the biggest blow to the Pakistani industry is due to electricity prices.
02:32We do not have any gas.
02:34So, if an industry wants to run, you need electricity.
02:38Electricity, as you can see, is the same news in Pakistan every week.
02:42It is constantly losing.
02:44Today, the price of electricity has gone up.
02:46Even today, if you look at the newspapers, it is increasing by 2 point something.
02:51First of all, for the common people to understand, where did the mistake happen?
02:58In 1994, when this policy was introduced for the first time by the government of the Pakistan People's Party.
03:05Then I was seeing another policy in 1998 by the PMLN government.
03:10When General Musharraf came in 2002, he also did some work on this.
03:14And in 2004, Mr. Shaukat Aziz.
03:16Mr. Shaukat Aziz, okay.
03:18After that, between 2013 and 2018, it is said that there was a heavy influx,
03:24whose projects are now coming.
03:26Those who are coming into the system.
03:28They do not need it, but they are coming into the system.
03:30You have made an agreement, so you have to pay for it.
03:32So, where did the fundamental mistake happen?
03:34If we can understand 1, 2, 3, then.
03:36In the name of Allah.
03:37Our fundamental mistake happened when we made this policy.
03:41And its objective was transition.
03:44In any country in the world, your thermal or coal projects,
03:49and especially in the areas like Pakistan,
03:53it is mostly your transitory period,
03:56after which you go to your original resources.
04:01And those original resources are your largest hydro in the world.
04:05After that is your coal, where locals come more.
04:08And after that, the third is your solar.
04:11Now, when this crisis came into the government of the People's Party in Pakistan,
04:15the original idea was that if we inject 500 megawatts into the system.
04:20In 1994.
04:21In 1994.
04:22And we should not go into it more than this.
04:25But when we were injecting it,
04:27then maybe we did not have money or whatever it was.
04:30It came into these three countries at that time.
04:33It was also in Bangladesh.
04:34It was also a phenomenon in India at that time.
04:36And it came into Pakistan.
04:38But apart from them, the five things that we did,
04:41that is the fate of Pakistan.
04:43I call it the energy crisis of Pakistan.
04:47This is a black hole of Pakistan's Mediterranean,
04:50in which we have gone to that level,
04:53that the economy of Pakistan,
04:56the national security of Pakistan,
04:58and the financial viability of the common man of this country,
05:02it is taking it inside itself like a jinn.
05:06And it is such a jinn that it is not stopping.
05:09Today, if we think that it has eaten us so much,
05:12and after that, maybe it will stop.
05:15Because that black hole is so big that it will increase day by day.
05:18You see, those things that started with your 200 billion,
05:22have gone up to your 28 billion.
05:25Now, what did we do with the five things?
05:27Number one, what we did was,
05:29in those contracts,
05:31we included the dollar payment model.
05:35It should have been local currency.
05:37Second, we said that if we had gone into the dollar,
05:41then we should have put a dollar cab.
05:43This is a country whose currency goes towards depreciation.
05:47We should go to it.
05:49And those six, seven,
05:51those that were in the beginning,
05:53today they have gone up to 280.
05:55Third, what we did was,
05:57we gave sovereign guarantees.
05:59And this never happens in any country in the world,
06:01that if you make a contract,
06:03and it is in such a way,
06:05that every big contract of Pakistan,
06:07which is coming from outside,
06:09whether it is coming from a private or a government firm,
06:11you have given a sovereign guarantee in it.
06:13Next, you did another injustice in it,
06:16that you made the jurisdiction of these contracts,
06:19outside the world.
06:21You said that our country's law will not apply.
06:24But if arbitration comes,
06:26then after that we will go out and do it.
06:28And the fifth thing,
06:30which we did the biggest injustice in it,
06:32that the transitory period,
06:34which was for this purpose,
06:36and in which in 1998-99,
06:38in the PMLN government,
06:40Saif-ur-Rehman also asserted on it,
06:42in this matter,
06:44we went ahead while running the same policy.
06:46The next thing was its fixed profit.
06:48The first contract we did,
06:50we did it on 16%.
06:52In 2014,
06:54we did it on 20%.
06:56And when we cut all these things
06:58and put it in front of them,
07:00then there were five things in it,
07:02which we wanted to do.
07:04The number one was this,
07:06it had foreign direct investment.
07:08Till today, its investment audit has not come.
07:10The second was its heat audit,
07:12that the thing you are bringing,
07:14what is its capacity.
07:16The third was your oil audit.
07:18As you have seen,
07:20it should be less,
07:22but their money is paying you in the same way.
07:24Then it was your financial audit,
07:26that how much tax do these people pay.
07:28You go and see their cases.
07:30In some places,
07:32their cases are not going forward
07:34to go into that thing.
07:36And finally it came in that,
07:38a connivance came,
07:40and that connivance of your kickbacks,
07:42that when you,
07:44what is the job of the state,
07:46or what is the job of the state institutions,
07:48if they do not protect,
07:50if they do not protect,
07:52if they do not get out of their responsibility,
07:54then there are only two things.
07:56Either it is your intellectual and professional dishonesty,
07:58or it is its kickbacks.
08:00And that kickback is going on,
08:02that you see,
08:04that from 1994 to today,
08:06the ministers,
08:08all of them will defend it.
08:10No power minister will ever say this to you,
08:12and when they are outside,
08:14they will say that it should be revisited,
08:16that it should be revisited.
08:18I understand that the people who are
08:20talking about this name,
08:22that these are sovereign guarantees,
08:24this is Rekodak,
08:26the issue of Rekodak was something else.
08:28This is not a matter of Rekodak,
08:30or give it to Karke.
08:32The issue here is that,
08:34if the same contract that you have given,
08:36in that, the five orders that I have mentioned,
08:38get them to do independent orders,
08:40and in that,
08:42your first arbitration is local.
08:44The local arbitrator has decided against us,
08:46and with that,
08:48they will go outside,
08:50and from outside,
08:52the explanation will start.
08:54Let's move on to the debate.
08:56Mr. Chaudhary, I will come to you.
08:58Even today, you have seen,
09:00in Lahore, the respected governor of Punjab,
09:02he is saying that there are 40 families,
09:04who have squandered this country
09:06on the name of these IPPs.
09:08Even before this,
09:10we have heard various statements,
09:12that they are somehow,
09:14someone's uncle, someone's mother,
09:16someone's uncle, someone's nephew,
09:18someone's niece,
09:20they are involved in some way.
09:22As Mr. Hafiz said,
09:24the Kanaivans,
09:26our elite in Kanaivans,
09:28in every political party,
09:30somewhere or the other,
09:32they have a stake,
09:34so they protect their interests.
09:36All across,
09:38you have been seeing this for decades,
09:40what do you think is the solution to this?
09:42What should happen,
09:44to this black hole,
09:46that Mr. Hafiz said,
09:48that we are getting stuck in it.
09:50Do you think there is a solution?
09:52First of all,
09:54they don't believe in all the facts.
09:56Even yesterday,
09:58I mentioned to you,
10:00that the Minister of State,
10:02of Treasury,
10:04Ali Parvez Malik,
10:06he says that
10:0880 out of 1000 billion,
10:10is owned by the private sector,
10:12the rest are owned by the government,
10:14or by the Chinese.
10:16So,
10:18this should also be
10:20visited.
10:22Mr. Hafiz,
10:24I think,
10:26in great detail,
10:28the whole subject,
10:30and this crisis,
10:32you have only one thing to say,
10:34that we don't need your electricity.
10:36Wherever you can sell
10:38this expensive electricity,
10:40go and sell it.
10:42Electricity is not being produced,
10:44and you have to pay for it.
10:46The plant is shut down,
10:48and we are paying billions.
10:50This is a robbery,
10:52this is not a business.
10:54This is simply fraudulent transaction.
10:56This is international,
10:58this is a local affair.
11:00Who gave you the license
11:02to commit a crime?
11:04Whether you are a ritualist
11:06in the middle of Pakistan,
11:08or not, what do we care?
11:10You are killing the people of Pakistan.
11:12We want
11:14Pakistani people
11:16not to suffer
11:18at the hands of IPPs,
11:20and their facilitators,
11:22and commission agents.
11:24Period.
11:26Mr. Naqvi,
11:28you are asking questions,
11:30you can comment,
11:32I will take it to Mr. Hafiz.
11:34Mr. Chaudhary,
11:36I am 100% supportive of what he said.
11:38We will have to take strict
11:40punishments,
11:42and punish those
11:44who have been involved
11:46since 1994.
11:48Mr. Hafiz has said
11:50that you can talk to any minister
11:52from 1994 to today,
11:54you can talk to any government official,
11:56he will be seen defending it.
11:58All those who are defending it,
12:00all those who are responsible for it,
12:02they should be held accountable.
12:04And this is the most important thing
12:06for a better Pakistan
12:08right now.
12:10Right now.
12:12Yes.
12:14Hassan.
12:16First of all,
12:18electricity is very expensive.
12:20As you said,
12:22the rate of electricity
12:24is increasing,
12:26even though the prime minister
12:28has said it,
12:30but even then,
12:32it is not feasible
12:34to compete in the international market.
12:36That is why many of our
12:38businessmen from Karachi
12:40and Faisalabad
12:42have taken their investments
12:44to foreign countries.
12:46And not just today,
12:48for the past 5-7 years,
12:50they have gone to Africa,
12:52Bangladesh,
12:54and other countries.
12:56Even after hiring a company,
12:58our business is viable.
13:00We can sell
13:02our end product
13:04and we can make a profit.
13:06In Pakistan,
13:08the cost of electricity
13:10that is being produced,
13:12our business is not viable at that cost.
13:14Now look,
13:16apart from this,
13:18the price is high,
13:20and there is a burden on the
13:22economy of Pakistan.
13:24You can see that
13:26the agreements that you have made,
13:28you have cut off the jurisdiction
13:30of those companies.
13:32So, the people who are making
13:34these agreements,
13:36whether it is Muslim League Nawaz,
13:38People's Party,
13:40Parvez Musharraf,
13:42or Imran Khan,
13:44all of them,
13:46criminal cases should be registered
13:48against them,
13:50and they should be in jail.
13:52People are fed up.
13:54They don't have the capacity
13:56to bear the burden of electricity.
13:58When I was in Gilgit-Baltistan,
14:00you can see that
14:02there are micro hydel power turbines,
14:04and electricity is being produced there.
14:06By generating electricity
14:08through water,
14:10I think it costs 4-5 rupees per unit
14:12for the people there.
14:14And here,
14:16you are using 50 rupees per unit
14:18for residential use.
14:20So, to end this difference,
14:22we will have to pressurize
14:24the government.
14:26And if the current government
14:28doesn't pressurize,
14:30it will be criminal negligence.
14:32If we don't do it now,
14:34when will we do it?
14:36Mr. Hafiz, there are two things
14:38that need to be understood.
14:40One is that the government
14:42is being threatened.
14:44They are saying that
14:46if we don't act on the
14:48agreement as a party,
14:50it will be harmful
14:52to the IPP.
14:54The second question is
14:56what is the way forward?
14:58The agreements that you have made,
15:00as I was reading your article,
15:02will be implemented by 2050.
15:04So, we will have to do something.
15:06Who will do it?
15:08The government?
15:10The Supreme Court?
15:12We will have to stand up
15:14and say yes.
15:16One more thing.
15:18The installed capacity
15:20in your country is
15:22about 43,000-44,000 megawatts.
15:24The maximum capacity
15:26in your country,
15:28the consumption
15:30in P cars,
15:32is sometimes 26,000,
15:34sometimes 27,000,
15:36sometimes 28,000,
15:38but it never goes above 30,000.
15:40Your power projects
15:42are giving you 9,000-10,000 megawatts.
15:44They have blown up
15:46your entire energy mixture.
15:48In that energy mixture,
15:50the water that you need
15:52is also increased.
15:54You have to balance it.
15:56Then, in your bill,
15:58your interest
16:00or late payment charges
16:02are also included.
16:04And then,
16:06if you don't make it,
16:08and since you don't need it,
16:10you must have seen that
16:12some units
16:14give you
16:162500-3000 rupees per unit.
16:18And you see
16:20that NEPRA is only
16:22doing this work.
16:24Every other day,
16:26you find out that
16:28PPA is being used
16:30for fuel adjustment,
16:32quarterly adjustment,
16:34rates, government increase.
16:36Now, what is the way forward?
16:38Number one,
16:40if the government decides
16:42not to extend
16:44any IPP contract,
16:46because they have
16:48a 30-30 years period,
16:50and there are some rumors
16:52that those who have expired
16:54or are expiring,
16:56they are trying hard
16:58to take them back.
17:00And when your country
17:02has more capacity
17:04than your consumption,
17:06why are you giving them?
17:08Contracts are never
17:10revoked unilaterally.
17:12But you use contracts
17:14in those parameters.
17:16You take them in those parameters
17:18that I have pointed out to you.
17:20You check that
17:22the fundamental thing
17:24is that they should come
17:26through the FDI.
17:28Who are the people behind them?
17:30Who are their sponsors?
17:32And whose name is being used?
17:34Secondly, you audit their
17:36identity and see
17:38if what they are giving us
17:40is really true or not.
17:42If you go into these things,
17:44then you will lose them.
17:46If you stay behind them,
17:48they will scare you
17:50with international law
17:52or sovereign guarantee.
17:54They will scare you
17:56because whatever campaign
17:58is going on,
18:00Ayub, do you see
18:02an IPP person in front of you?
18:04A finance minister
18:06comes and clarifies it.
18:08Our Water and Power minister
18:10is clarifying it
18:12as if he is a spokesperson
18:14of these IPPs.
18:16If you are in the government,
18:18it is your job to solve it.
18:20It is your job to defend it.
18:22Sir, what is this heat audit?
18:24Someone told me
18:26that there are some IPPs
18:28like this,
18:30I will give you a document
18:32When IPPs were negotiated
18:34with the government,
18:36their installed capacity
18:38was increased.
18:40This is the heat audit.
18:42This is the heat audit.
18:44Your RIM is
18:466 GB.
18:48You can only
18:50produce 10 units of electricity
18:52but in the document
18:54you have written 15 or 20 units.
18:56Your RIM is 6 GB.
18:58You are charging a bill of 14 GB.
19:00Who is going to do this?
19:02The government of Pakistan
19:04is going to do this.
19:06Why is the government
19:08silent?
19:10The government is silent
19:12because they have not
19:14experienced this before.
19:16Look at the consistency.
19:18If the PTI people
19:20have gone before,
19:22you will see a person
19:24who you have not met
19:26and that is Nadeem Babar.
19:28There were two scandals.
19:30One was that
19:32a person was sitting
19:34with him.
19:36There was a report
19:38that was made.
19:40The report was
19:42very good.
19:44The best report
19:46that was made
19:48was of the standing committee
19:50of the senate.
19:52The simple thing
19:54is that
19:56if your entire problem
19:58is a disaster
20:00for your national economy,
20:02your national security
20:04is becoming a threat,
20:06if the business of this country
20:08goes out,
20:10if the people of this country
20:12are not able to give money,
20:14if there is no economic
20:16viability in this country
20:18and you say that
20:20you have to fulfill
20:22your liability,
20:24do you know that
20:26more than your salary,
20:28which is being talked about
20:30as a protected consumer,
20:32even if you pay
20:34Rs. 20,000 or Rs. 22,000,
20:36if he crosses more than
20:38200 units,
20:40he is giving you all the salary.
20:42He has to teach children,
20:44he has to run the house,
20:46how can he do that?
20:48And we are only in this
20:50that if the liability goes,
20:52if any contract of the world
20:54is threatening your national security,
20:56economic security
20:58and the economic viability
21:00of that country,
21:02then all clauses should be used
21:04to reverse those things.
21:06Sovereign guarantee is the last option.
21:10That is when you work
21:12unilaterally.
21:14I know, you know, everyone knows
21:16that there is fraud in this.
21:18There is excessive use
21:20of authority.
21:22There are technical things
21:24that can be addressed
21:26and then we keep our eyes closed.
21:28If we keep our eyes closed
21:30and keep going,
21:32you see, every person in Pakistan
21:34says that this IPP,
21:36you are taking Rs. 9,000 from them,
21:38you are giving them Rs. 42,000,
21:40you go to Bangladesh,
21:42what is your unit price there?
21:44You go to Afghanistan,
21:46you know how we are meeting them?
21:48This is another tragedy
21:50of Pakistanis.
22:18No, no.
22:48I think the government should
22:50open their eyes and ears.
22:52It shouldn't be the case that
22:54the people come to the streets
22:56and then it will be very difficult
22:58to send them back to their homes.
23:00The Jamaat-e-Islami has come out today.
23:02They will tell you where they are present
23:04in the country,
23:06they are showing their small scenes.
23:08I think the government should
23:10take a wake-up call.
23:12Let's go to the break.
23:14We will meet you again after the break.
23:18Welcome back, viewers.
23:20Today, you saw that the Jamaat-e-Islami
23:22has called for a protest in Islamabad,
23:24in Dhi Chowk,
23:26and especially in Rawalpindi, Islamabad,
23:28in different places,
23:30in the form of groups.
23:32The workers of the Jamaat-e-Islami
23:34are being arrested.
23:36First of all, let's tell you
23:38what the Amir of the Jamaat-e-Islami,
23:40Mr. Hafiz, is saying about this.
23:42We are peaceful people,
23:44we want to be peaceful,
23:46but how can we establish peace
23:48with the workers of the Jamaat-e-Islami?
23:50We want to reach Islamabad at any cost.
23:52We want to protest here,
23:54and I want to say this
23:56to all the people,
23:58the workers of the Jamaat-e-Islami,
24:00they have closed Islamabad with containers.
24:02Wherever there is a hurdle,
24:04there will be a protest.
24:06And we will turn one protest
24:08into many other protests.
24:10Fundamentally, the Jamaat-e-Islami
24:12which is protesting here,
24:14and Hafiz sahab is explaining the same.
24:16We want a reduction in electricity prices.
24:19We want to get rid of IPPs.
24:21We want to get rid of the slavery of the wage earners.
24:23We want to get rid of taxes.
24:25We want to get rid of the taxes of wheat, lentils, sugar and tea.
24:29And we have come out for the people, for ourselves.
24:31Come out, reach Islamabad and we will tell the government that they will have to step back.
24:39Babur Malik sahab from Rawalpindi is our correspondent.
24:43I was watching people coming out of Liaquat Bagh and then there were some arrests as well.
24:48Babur Malik, tell us, people from Rawalpindi were coming out of Jamaat-e-Islami.
24:54How far have they reached? Are they coming forward or have they stopped somewhere there?
24:59Yes, Mr. Guman, the wisdom of Jamaat-e-Islami was that wherever there is space, they will give it.
25:07Earlier, there was a lot of police presence.
25:09There were barriers, vans, containers, closed roads.
25:12But facing all these circumstances, these workers finally reached inside and outside Liaquat Bagh.
25:18And now there is such a large number of them that they have reached outside Liaquat Bagh
25:21and have given a formal protest.
25:23And this protest has turned into a demonstration.
25:26And a large number of local leaders like Raza Ahmed Shah and other central leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami
25:33and Punjab are also here.
25:35And there is only one demand from them,
25:37that the demands made on behalf of their leader, Ameer-e-Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman,
25:42which were increased in electricity prices,
25:45and they are demanding the return of that increase.
25:48Here, since they have closed Murree Road,
25:51Sikh and Rawalpindi's Khalid Mahmood Hamdani reached here and gave an offer
25:55that you take this peaceful protest inside Liaquat Bagh and hold a demonstration there.
26:01But this offer has been rejected by their local leaders.
26:04They have said that they will record their demand here.
26:07And they are sitting here after giving a protest.
26:09These workers of Jamaat-e-Islami have not only come from Rawalpindi,
26:12but they have also come from various areas of Punjab and Girdhonwa.
26:16And even from the side of the police, when they did not take any law into their own hands,
26:21but it was the implementation of Article 144.
26:23So, according to your news, they are present.
26:27They have given a protest there in front of Liaquat Bagh.
26:29They are not coming to Islamabad.
26:31Look, on behalf of Ameer-e-Jamaat-e-Islami,
26:34it was also said that if they are not allowed to come,
26:37then they will hold demonstrations wherever they come.
26:40Their aim is to record their protest against IPPs and the electricity bill.
26:44Absolutely right.
26:45I understood.
26:46We will take you now.
26:48Viewers, Mr. Zahid Mashwani is present at D-Chowk.
26:52Because his main objective is to reach D-Chowk.
26:59His main destination.
27:01We are trying to contact him now.
27:03If we get in touch, we will definitely get to know from him too.
27:06Viewers, let's move on to the next story.
27:09In Pakistan, the topic of justice has been raised.
27:14Now, every day we get to hear a new statement from Pakistan Tariq-e-Insaf.
27:20Tariq-e-Insaf has been trying to give some good news for the past two days.
27:25How much life does he have?
27:27What is the reality?
27:28First of all, you heard Asad Qaisar's statement yesterday.
27:31He is saying that the matter will be under our control by December.
27:36Look, I have good expectations.
27:38On what basis do you have expectations?
27:39Look, you can't see some things, but you have a feeling.
27:43There is a sense.
27:45Because of this, I feel that, God willing, Tariq-e-Insaf's time will come.
27:50I have a hope that the situation will get better by December.
27:53I think that our seats will be so high that we will be able to make our government.
27:58Umer Youb, leader of the opposition.
28:00He met his leader yesterday, Bani PTI.
28:04When he came out of Adiala jail, he gave a message to Bani PTI.
28:11What is that message?
28:14There were four to five important messages in the name of Prime Minister Imran Khan's nation.
28:21First of all, General Asim Munir, who is the Chief of Army Staff,
28:26should realize that the current government of PDM or Shahbaz Sharif
28:34is trying to bring the army, PTI and the people of Pakistan together.
28:42Along with this, he gave a message to our chairman, our party leader,
28:47that you should prepare for the elections.
28:50Prime Minister Imran Khan has said in the name of the nation that you should prepare.
28:54There will be general elections in the country.
28:57If there are clear and transparent elections,
29:02then the justice of Pakistan will be sweetened.
29:07Azam Nazeer Tariq is saying that all is well.
29:11There is no problem. The government will complete its five-year plan.
29:16What can I comment on his wish list?
29:20A five-year time has been given in the constitution.
29:23There is no such situation.
29:25All is well. If Allah wills it, the five years will be completed.
29:28He also said that the army and PTI are trying to create hatred.
29:34I think this is his answer.
29:38Mr. Nagri, how do you take this message of PTI?
29:44He is saying that we are standing with the army.
29:48This is the current government. This is making us fight.
29:52This is a very good and positive thing.
29:55Not only PTI, but all political parties in Pakistan should think like this.
29:59They can come to power at any time.
30:03When such a thought arises,
30:05the party that will come to power in the future,
30:08will try to take the country towards terrorism.
30:11They will not try to destroy the country.
30:13This is a very good thing.
30:14But there is one more thing.
30:16The two central leaders of PTI,
30:18Mr. Omar Ayyub and Mr. Asad Qaisar,
30:21Mr. Omar Ayyub said that PTI should prepare for the elections.
30:26Mr. Qaisar said that we will come to power by December.
30:30Our numbers will be completed.
30:32There is a lot of clash in both these things.
30:34I think there is either a communication gap between them,
30:37or both these things are being done in the air.
30:40What I understood is that when we come to power,
30:44our prime minister will dissolve the assembly.
30:47Then we will go to the next election.
30:49The current government will not take them to the next election.
30:52We will not break the assembly.
30:54When we come to power, we do not have the money.
30:56In Lahore, Malik Ahmed Khan, the speaker of the Punjab Assembly,
31:00is very active these days.
31:02He gives a daily press conference.
31:04He is also saying that,
31:06even if the tribunals decide against us,
31:09nothing is happening to our government.
31:12I have recorded all your cases in the elections tribunals.
31:18There are 26 cases related to my assembly.
31:2126.
31:22I will give you all of it.
31:24You can take it.
31:26Even if all 26 cases are in your favor,
31:28the government and opposition will not change.
31:31What do you want to say?
31:34Mr. Qaisar, why are you so angry?
31:3826 cases are in your favor.
31:40You can take 26 seats.
31:42You can win.
31:44What do you want to say?
31:46Do you want our government to stay?
31:50No.
31:51When the government dissolves the National Assembly,
31:55they will know what their situation is.
31:59I don't know if it is 26 or 260 seats.
32:03This is their view.
32:05He is the only speaker who has sealed the Leader of the Opposition's chamber.
32:10He has closed his entrance.
32:12He claims to be a democrat.
32:15He says that he has studied in the UK.
32:18Most unfortunate.
32:21Mr. Joye, please continue.
32:25The cases are opening up.
32:29The cases are opening up.
32:38Why don't you take a view from Mr. Hassan?
32:40I am coming to Mr. Hassan.
32:42Mr. Joye, Malik Ahmed Khan...
32:44He has come down from the mountain.
32:47Let's ask him what his situation is.
32:51Mr. Malik Ahmed Khan...
32:54If I am not mistaken,
32:56Mr. Joye, he has trained with one of your friends.
33:02Yes, I have trained with him.
33:04You have a good relationship with him.
33:06Okay.
33:07Mr. Hassan, yesterday Mr. Rana Sinhawala said something very strange.
33:10You don't know that he was the one who took me to Prado.
33:14I was going to talk about that.
33:16You are late.
33:17Your soap is running slow today.
33:19You don't want to listen to me, do you?
33:22No, Mr. Joye. Please continue.
33:24No, no.
33:25The white car that he took,
33:28in which he was lying on the back seat with him,
33:32that is a famous incident.
33:34Okay, okay. He was driving that car.
33:36I completely understood.
33:37Mr. Rana Sinhawala is saying something.
33:39He is trying to hide something.
33:41What is the secret of the web?
33:43We will know from Mr. Hassan.
33:44Please listen to his statement first.
33:46He is trying to make a web.
33:49If he finds a way,
33:51he will try to play such games.
33:55We can see that he is trying to do something.
34:00He will try.
34:01These are private meetings.
34:03He is saying that he has talked to them.
34:05As soon as the Chief Justice is changed in November,
34:08he will prepare for the next election.
34:11If you put two or three things together,
34:15then Mr. Umar Ayyub, Mr. Gauhar Khan,
34:19or Mr. Asad Kaisar, who are talking,
34:21you have a little doubt on them.
34:23But there is nothing to doubt.
34:25We will have to be alert.
34:27And we will have to face these things.
34:29We will have to manage these things.
34:31He is saying one thing, Hassan.
34:33He is saying that we will have to be alert.
34:35Because they also know in science
34:37that this is how it happens.
34:39You don't know.
34:40No, his desire is very strong.
34:42It is of every political party.
34:44Yes, let me continue.
34:46The PTI took this step
34:48that somehow the existing government,
34:50People's Party and Muslim League Nawaz,
34:52should create distrust between the establishment.
34:55What would be the benefit of this?
34:57If a single statement comes from the Muslim League Nawaz
35:00or People's Party,
35:01then the establishment will move away a little.
35:04And one thing was the objective of this.
35:06Secondly, to give a lollipop to the workers,
35:09that they should stay with us.
35:10We are coming to power.
35:12However, it is very clear that
35:14till Imran Khan does not make a public apology on 9th May,
35:18public apology,
35:19that is, he will not come to the people and apologize
35:21that we have made this mistake,
35:23we have attacked the state.
35:25Till then, the establishment will not end their strictness.
35:29It is a very far-fetched thing to talk about.
35:31Imran Khan has given messages several times.
35:34He did not get an answer from them
35:36that until he does not apologize,
35:38the matter will not move forward.
35:40So they have not apologized yet.
35:42And until they do not apologize,
35:44they will continue to run after their desires.
35:47Is the strictness increasing now?
35:48Yes, the strictness is going to increase further.
35:50Is it going to increase?
35:51Yes, it is going to increase.
35:52And there will be arrests in the coming days.
35:54And new cases will be made.
35:56And Imran Khan's one more conviction is ready.
35:58Okay.
35:59I mean, how many more years are left?
36:01What is the conviction now?
36:02It's been a year and a half now.
36:03Okay.
36:04A year has passed.
36:05A year has passed.
36:06Let's go.
36:07Let's take a short break.
36:09After this, we will talk about a major kidnapping in Karachi.
36:13We will know from Mr. Naqvi
36:16what the matter is.
36:18Is it a personal feud?
36:19Or is there really a criminal mafia behind it?
36:22And at the same time,
36:24we will also talk to the reporter
36:26who is present at the D-Chowk
36:28regarding the current situation and the protest.
