00:00Did Mr. Beast lie about his recent charity work?
00:03Mr. Beast is the most subscribed to man on YouTube
00:05and a huge part of his road to the top has been his philanthropy work
00:09which includes projects like Team Seas and Team Trees,
00:12renewable energy and even curing blindness.
00:15You paid for my surgery?
00:16Yeah.
00:17But it's his recent work in El Salvador that almost tarnished his legacy.
00:21Jimmy went there to create 100 houses for those in need.
00:25In this video, we are building and giving away 100 houses
00:28and each home is going to change a family's life.
00:31However, social media lashed out at him
00:33when some of those houses were spotted being sold in a listing for $45,000
00:38with accusations ranging from Mr. Beast not actually helping the locals
00:41to the locals themselves aiming to profit from the good deed.
00:44In steps Michelle Saul, the Minister of Housing in El Salvador,
00:48who not only confirmed Jimmy's charitable efforts in the region
00:51but also debunked the listing,
00:52stating that the deeds are family locked and cannot be sold for the next 20 years.
00:57And also shout out to you guys
00:58because obviously if you didn't watch these videos,
01:00we wouldn't have been able to build 100 houses.
01:02And if the channel continues to grow, I hope to do a thousand in the future.
