00:32The route to the Stade de France venue has been closed.
00:37Repairs are underway, but officials say restrictions could last throughout the weekend.

00:54On the eve of the opening ceremony, authorities tonight say they foiled an alleged Russian
01:01plot to disrupt the Summer Games in Paris.
01:04A Cordon Bleu-trained chef is reportedly under arrest for trying to provoke hostilities

01:09Though French officials haven't identified the suspect, a joint investigation by France's
01:13Le Mans, Germany's Der Spiegel and the Russia-focused The Insider identified him as 40-year-old
01:18Kirill Gryaznov.
01:20He is an FSB officer, which is a Russian intelligence officer, who spent 14 years living
01:25in France posing as a chef.
01:28And tonight, facing international outcry over the war in Gaza, Israel accusing Iran of trying
01:33to intimidate Israel's Olympic team.
01:35They claim 15 athletes received death threats by email and phone, with imagery echoing the
01:40horrific 1972 attack at the Munich Games.
01:51France's Interior Minister has thanked Belgium after authorities carried out 14 raids across
01:56the country and detained seven people over suspected terrorist activities.
