We asked CEOs if they think AI could do their jobs.
Transcript
00:00I think A.I. could not do my job right now, but I do see improvements in A.I. models,
00:04so someday I'll get to retire.
00:06I don't think that A.I. can do my job, but we are investors in artificial intelligence.
00:12The only reason why I say that is because I don't know how good they would be on making
00:17an investment selection, and that would be kind of scary.
00:20Does it have the personality I have? Then yeah, it could do my job.
00:25Not yet, right? And I'd actually love it if it could.
00:27I do think, though, A.I. can take so many of the tasks that we do on a day-to-day basis
00:31and accelerate them so that it allocates more of my time and my team's time to really solving
00:37the much harder problems. That part's really exciting to me.
00:40It could do part of my job, but not all of my job. I have to deal with people a lot,
00:44and it's going to be a while before A.I. can do that by itself.
00:47There are certain parts of my job A.I. can do, and I'm trying to use it as much as possible
00:51to free up my time to do better things.
00:53No, A.I. could not do my job, but it certainly can help me a lot.
00:58I'm sure that there are components of my job that A.I. could do,
01:00but there's a lot of interacting with people and encouraging people
01:04and getting people to do their best work that I'm not ready to turn over to an A.I.
01:09Yeah, I could do some parts of my job for sure. Every quarter, I spend a lot of time
01:12on the shareholder letter because we publish it, and it's a really important thing.
01:16And this quarter is the first time we're going to actually see if we can get
01:19Chad JPT to do a first draft. So far, so good.
01:21If you're a CEO of a company and you're not using these A.I. tools to their fullest,
01:27you're going to be at a disadvantage.
