00:00In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:05We praise Him and ask His blessings.
00:09The foundation of Islam is based on five things.
00:13Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, states,
00:17The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
00:21The foundation of Islam is based on five things.
00:25The first is to bear witness that there is no God but Allah,
00:29and that Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him,
00:33is the true Messenger of Allah.
00:36The second is to observe prayer, pay zakat, perform hajj,
00:42and fast during Ramadan.
