00:00I think I just really want to go in and enjoy it as much as possible. I know when I'm relaxed
00:09and I enjoy it that I run at my best. So yeah, I'm just going to go into the Games in the
00:14best shape I've ever been in. I broke my British record a few weeks ago. So yeah, in a really
00:20good spot. So I'm just going to go in there and hopefully make it to the final smoothly.
00:24I think people always take for granted that you're going to be in the final, but that's
00:28very hard to do. So hopefully get there and then once I'm in the final, anything can happen.
00:32I think collectively it should be one of the best games we could have over athletics. I
00:37think it's a bit of a golden era at the moment and a lot of people shaping up to give the
00:41best performances they've ever had. Sadly, the state of global athletics is that it's
00:46probably in a bit of a golden era as well. So there's every event has some pretty tough
00:50competitors to beat. But if you were to look at all the British athletes that could medal
00:54and if they ended up doing that, then you could end up with a huge tally, not just of
00:58medals, but of goals as well, which is pretty exciting prospects for, especially for games
01:02that's so close to home.
01:03Personally, for me, I had a really tough year and a half coming into this championships.
01:09And yeah, just struggled with injury. So coming off the back of a knee injury and having six
01:14months of no running at all. So it's, yeah, it's not been easy for me. The biggest achievement
01:20in itself, to be honest, is making that start line, being part of this team.
