00:00Manchester City began their pre-season tour of the United States with a 4-3 defeat to Celtic in North Carolina.
00:07While plenty of academy stars have been named in the 27-man touring squad there are a handful of household names.
00:14Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland, Stefan Ortega, Calvin Phillips and Oscar Bob all started while Ederson played the second 45 minutes.
00:22City fell behind in the 13th minute when Nicholas Kuhn gave Celtic the lead.
00:26Erling Haaland was denied by former City keeper Kasper Schmeichel midway through the half with the Dane spreading himself well to thwart the Norwegian.
00:35City were ramping up the pressure and Haaland's attempted dinked finish was superbly kept out by Schmeichel before Oscar Bob finally found a way past the Celtic keeper to level.
00:44But the Scottish champions almost immediately restored their advantage when Kuhn cut inside to score his second of the night.
00:51And Kyobo Furohashi made it three on the cusp of half-time with a fine finish.
00:55City started the second period with a bang as half-time sub Maximo Peroni scored with his first touch after fine work from Oscar Bob.
01:03Haaland then headed the Blues level from Bob's cross but again Celtic hit back when Luis Palma struck what proved to be the winner.
