Hulk Sculpture Unveiled in Oswestry with Powerful Message

00:00So we're at the British Ironworks today in Shropshire and we've just finished this project,

00:07this latest project. It's all about road safety, it's all about speeding on the national highways.

00:16It was inspired by a young lady that very recently had been in a car accident where

00:26she was stationary or she was just moving off. She was only 19, had a hugely bright future ahead of

00:34her and a car drove straight into the back of her and as a consequence she was a fatality. Her

00:44boyfriend survived but she passed away at the scene. So that's what sort of brought this whole

00:53campaign over road safety to the fore for us and we're especially appealing to everybody now

01:01to slow down, especially during the school holidays. There's so many children out, running across roads,

01:09playing near roads. So please slow down and if you want to come and look at the sculpture,

01:17hopefully the sculpture will go on a national tour and hopefully it'll be adopted by National

01:24Highways themselves, we're hoping.
