00:00This is Nanfang Ao Fishing Port in Yilan County on Taiwan's east coast.
00:06And Typhoon Kaimi is now just about 100 kilometres from the coast.
00:12As you can see, the wind has picked up here.
00:15We've got gusts of about 100 kilometres per hour.
00:18The sea is rising because there's a big high tide today.
00:21And the waves are metres high.
00:24Now, the port here is home to about 200 fishing ships.
00:27They will come in to shelter from the storm.
00:29But we've been talking to the fisher people today.
00:32They're still worried that even though in the relative safety of this harbour,
00:36their boats could be at risk.
00:38We've also been speaking to the Coast Guard.
00:41They're warning that the typhoon is not a spectator sport.
00:45They're telling people to stay away from the sea.
00:48Now, Typhoon Kaimi is still growing in strength and speed.
00:53And it's towns like this that are set to bear the brunt of that storm.
