00:00An iconic ferry, Pulau Pinang, which is located at the base of Sultan Abdul Halim Butterworth, was reported to have sunk early this morning.
00:11The crew of the Pulau Pinang Port at this time is working to resume the ferry, while the bombers are controlling the oil from the spill to the sea.
00:23It is understood that the ferry began to sink before it sank completely about 3 a.m. and the incident is believed to have originated from the rope that tied the ferry broke due to strong winds.
00:36The service of the iconic ferry, Pulau Pinang, was terminated in 2020 after operating for more than 126 years, which was then replaced with a speed boat service to power individual passengers and ferries for motorcycles and bicycles.
00:53However, in order to preserve the historical value and iconic elements of Pulau Pinang, the SPPP has decided to place two iconic ferries in Tanjung Siti Marina, which will be transformed into a restaurant and museum, and it will not move.
