00:00In all new fantasies upon us in the lands of Nahantu, there will be new creatures that
00:08we get to experience, call on, and interact with that are called Spirit Guardians.
00:13But before we dive in, let's talk about the Spirit Realm.
00:16What is it?
00:17So upon the creation of Sanctuary when Anarius and Lilith altered the Worldstone, the magic
00:23between these two great powers released a clouded veil of this magical energy.
00:28So between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, there lies the Spirit Realm, a blanket
00:33of raw magical energy that surrounds us where magic can take form, an untouched realm that
00:39has managed to last without corruption, for now.
00:42The amazing part about this realm is that it's a byproduct of humanity, and the angels
00:47and demons don't realize there's this power that's connected to Sanctuary.
00:52And this makes the Spiritborn class really unique, this culture that we get to introduce
00:56and players get to explore.
00:58So some of this energy is crystallized into sentient spirits.
01:02The prophet Akra and one of his dedicants, Sisavete, forged a path for Spiritborn today,
01:08learning how to call upon spirits and working harmoniously with Spirit Guardians.
01:12The Spiritborn would, over time, implement these practices into tradition.
01:16And it is the Spiritborn who can harness this magic, but can only actually wield it once
01:21completing a coming-of-age ritual called the Trial of Mists that are filled with many arduous
01:26tests.
01:27And the Spiritborn have this innate calling, they plan for this trial from a very young age.
01:33It is said that there is a strong spiritual bond between the Spiritborn and the Spirit
01:38Guardians that we're talking about.
01:41These spirits, they've been growing forever and changing with the Spirit Realm over millennia.
01:46And the Spiritborn call upon the most powerful Spirit Guardians as an extension of their
01:50martial arts abilities to help their fight against the vessels of hatred.
01:56There are four Spirit Guardians the Spiritborn class can call upon in the Vessel of Hatred.
02:01There's Rizoka, the Hunter.
02:03This spirit reveals itself in jaguar form, fueled by fire and encompasses the spirit
02:08of the jungle.
02:09Leaping into battle or clawing its way through enemies, you'll recognize a jaguar by its
02:14burning embers.
02:15We have Quatli, the Seeker.
02:18This majestic eagle that drops in by channeling lightning.
02:23It's an animal of wisdom and mobility, so it flies through combat, teleporting you from
02:28one spot to another.
02:32We have Wumba, the Guardian.
02:34This gorilla represents a beacon of protection and strength.
02:39Really slamming the enemies in combat, you'll see him jumping in with this extreme might.
02:46I personally think that the ultimate is pretty cool.
02:49Lastly, we have Balazan, the Devourer.
02:52A massive centipede that reflects the cycle of life.
02:56Whenever we talk about this Spirit Guardian, we really want it to represent what happens
03:02after life, which is decay and harmony with sanctuary.
03:06When there is life, there is death.
03:07And you really get to see that with the centipede as he spews in battle.
03:14It's really exciting because the jungles of Nohantu may be dangerous, but you'll still
03:19get to find a bounty of dark, yet fruitful adventures.
03:23Not only do we get to explore the depths of the jungle, we also get to explore the spirit
03:28realm.
03:29And with this newfound understanding of what our Spirit Guardians can do for the Spiritborn,
03:34let us work together with Vigor to purge the hatred from these lands once again.
