00:38Joey a high school graduate from a wealthy family a promising pianist meets the
00:47fun-loving Rosemary while on a holiday in Myakka with his parents falls in love
00:58instantly like a phantom but is too shy he finds her in Berlin gets close to her
01:10and wants to experience the first time with her. Rosemary is 37 years old woman
01:22who is married and work as a post woman. They are of different social classes and
01:32yet it hit them both hard. At first Rosemary resist Joey's advances but
01:43eventually she gives in to him. They experience their first time together and
01:53little by little they go through the alphabet of love. That was the
02:02appropriate working title of this TV movie but Rosemary knows that their
02:11relationship has no future when Joey out of love for her lets the school and
02:21his music lessons slide and her partner Peter finds out about her affair. She
02:32makes a momentous decision. In this TV movie the age differences and social
02:42backgrounds stands in a way of love. The social differences keep coming up but
02:51the script writer doesn't force them to be an issue. Instead she relies on loving
03:02detailed figure drawing. The actors are excellently lead by the director. Actress
03:13gives herself entirely to this role which at first glance may well certainly not believe
03:23her to be capable of. With cigarettes mini skits that require a gun license and a lower voice
03:34she approaches the role of this simple woman. Rosemary's partner Peter with a tender and
03:45vulnerable streak has his opponent is a newcomer which is a brilliantly cast. The
03:56most beautiful thing about this film however is that the creator resist the temptation to
04:06artificially dramatize the story and thankfully it remains a film about small and big dreams
04:17of growing up.
