वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण (Nirmala Sitharaman) ने बजट (Budget 2024) में कृषि और इससे जुड़े सेक्टरों के लिए बजट में 1.52 लाख करोड़ रुपए प्रावधान किया है. यह पिछले बजट के 1.25 लाख करोड़ रुपए से 21.6 फीसदी यानी 25 हजार करोड़ रुपए ज्यादा है. लेकिन किसानों के एक वर्ग के लगातार मांग के बाद भी न्यूनतम समर्थन (MSP) को लेकर बजट में कोई घोषणा नहीं हुई. साथ ही किसान सम्मान निधि की राशि में भी वित्त मंत्री ने कोई बढ़ोतरी नहीं की है.
