00:00Islam loves you. Allah wants you to keep your sins between you and Allah. The
00:05worst thing a person can do is to expose their sins and parade it. And now we have
00:11social media where we are very quick to parade our sins and look at the result.
00:15The result is, I don't know if you've noticed this but I've been, I was born
00:19here, yes I studied Atheist for a bit but I came back and I've seen a trend
00:23developing. Before people used to be shy of their sins and now there's a very
00:29big difference. I don't know if some of you of about my age you can realize this
00:33but those who are younger I don't think you can see this. You're probably born
00:38into this world seeing everybody's just like that. There are so many sins being
00:42done now that in our time when I was 18, 19 they were shameful, that people were
00:46ashamed of it. Heck even in 1950 non-Muslim people had more modesty than
00:54today. So my brothers and sisters in Islam, what does Allah want from you? He
00:59wants your repentance. He wants you to come back. Listen to what Allah said
01:03Allah says, Allah wants to forgive you. Allah wants to forgive you. Allah wants
01:33to forgive you and those who want you to lose your way, they want you to fall
01:40into big problems. Allah wants to lessen the burden off you. He doesn't want you
01:45to fall into problems but man was created ever so weak. They got too many
01:49desires that, in other words Allah is saying I know that you have desires, I
01:53created you that way but I'm ready to forgive you if you just come back to me.
01:59I'm right here. I will never leave you alone. My brothers and sisters, listen to
02:04this beautiful verse in the Quran. Allah said which means Allah indeed loves
02:21those who always come back to him and he loves those who always purify themselves.
02:27Do you know what it means that Allah loves those who always come back to him?
02:31You know what it means? It means two things. Number one, it means that Allah is
02:38speaking to the ones who are always sinning. Like who is the one that returns
02:44back to Allah? They're the people who have turned away from Allah. So who is
02:49Allah addressing? He addressing those who turn away from him. He says I love, Allah
02:56loves those who always come back. Now the second meaning is that, so the first one
03:02is that they're always sinning and number two, they're always going and
03:08coming back. It's frequent and what does this verse tell us? It tells us that the
03:16shaitaan, Iblis, the shaitaan, he always comes to our minds and says to you,
03:22you've got no hope and you've been sinning all this life, look what you've
03:28done. You know this is haram, you're a hypocrite. You just made repentance the
03:33other day, now you're back at it. You made repentance the other day, you came back
03:36at it. What are you trying to trick Allah? You hypocrite. You start talking this bad,
03:41this negative talk to yourself. Do you know who, the one who makes you think
03:46like that is the shaitaan and your own self whispers. But Allah constantly tells
03:53you, read the Quran because I've got a message for you. I don't want you to fall
03:57into that. I'm telling you that I want you and I don't care if you sin all the
04:02time. I just want you to come back all the time and then you go away and come
04:06back, go away and then come back. I want you to come back all the time and I will
04:10keep accepting and forgiving you until the moment that you die, until the moment
04:17your soul reaches the gargling point. I will continue to forgive you. There is a
04:25beautiful hadith from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, my Lord said, my
04:34Lord said, who did he say it to? He said it to his angels one day. Allah said to
04:39his angels one day, pointing to a particular slave of his. Now the word
04:45slave means that we are Allah's slaves and that word slave is deliberate
04:52because whether we like it or not, if you think about it, we are a slave to
04:57something. It is impossible not to be a slave to something. Anything that governs
05:03your life, your mindset, the way you act in your life, that's the thing controlling
05:07you and you are a slave to it. Whether it's money, looks, social media, fame,
05:11fortune, deen, whatever it is. You, Allah wants you to be a slave to him because
05:17being a slave to Allah means that it's a beautiful relationship. He is not going
05:22to use and abuse you. My brothers and sisters, Allah said to these angels, my
05:28slave today sinned and he said, he called out to me, he said,
05:38Oh Allah, forgive my sin and Allah says to his angels,
05:47My slave has sinned today and he knows that he has a
05:55Lord that forgives his sin. I will forgive his sin, my angels, bear witness.
06:02He then said, Oh the same slave has sinned again and he's called out to me
06:09to forgive him. Oh my angels, he knows that he has a Lord that forgives. I'm
06:13going to forgive him. Then he said, Oh my slave has sinned a third time and he has
06:19asked me to forgive him. He knows that he has a Lord that will forgive him. So
06:24bear witness, my angels, I have forgiven him. And then a fourth time, he sinned.
06:29And then Allah says to his angels, listen to what I'm going to say. My slave has
06:35sinned and he has asked me to forgive him and he knows that he has a Lord that
06:38forgives. Let my slave do whatever he wills. Let my slave do whatever he wishes
06:47from here on. The hadith is in Bukhari and Muslim, authentic hadith. But don't
06:53misunderstand that last part. Let him do what he wishes. No. What it means is, my
07:01servant has now got a habit that I love. He or she has got the habit of
07:07always coming back to me. Every time he or she sins, he or she comes back. The
07:15fact that the sin is making them come back and he's always coming back, let him
07:20do what he wants. Because I know he will always come back. You understand? So does
07:28Allah know that you sin? Yeah. In fact, I'm going to tell you even a deeper
07:34hadith. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, and this hadith is in
07:39Sahih Muslim. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, by the
07:44one who controls my soul. If you weren't to sin, Allah would have vanished you.
07:59He'd have gotten rid of all of us. And he would have brought
08:08another creation who do sin. And then that new creation will ask
08:16Allah to forgive them over and over. And Allah will forgive them.
08:21Why does Allah say that? Because you see, one of the some of the names of Allah is
08:26Allah has to manifest all of his names and attributes.
08:35Otherwise he wouldn't be Allah. Allah loves it when we return because he loves
08:41to forgive. Why does he love to forgive? That's his attribute. That's who he is.
08:47That's what makes him Allah. That's what Allah is. He is the forgiver. So Allah
08:54says, my slave makes sins and asked me to forgive them and I forgive them. And this
09:00is the way that Allah differentiates between those who deserve punishment and
09:05those who deserve his forgiveness, mercy and pleasure. My beloved brother and
09:10sisters, Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala wants you to repent to him. Allah wants you to
09:15forgive you. Allah wants you to be successful. Allah wants you to live a
09:21good life. Shaitan is your enemy. Take shaitan as your enemy. As a human being
09:27we might falter and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala created us weak and there is
09:32waswasa of shaitan. Whenever you make mistakes, turn towards Allah and ask
09:37Allah for forgiveness. Repent to Allah, cry to Allah, beg to Allah. Allah loves
09:43those sinners who asks his repentance, those ask his forgiveness. Allah
09:50subhanahu wa'ta'ala doesn't hate you. Every son of Adam is a sinner but the
09:55best of sinners are those who repents. It doesn't mean we are condoning sinning
10:02but people, they are weak. They might falter, they might sin. If you sin, the
10:10whole world is not over. The true Muslim, the moment they sin, the moment they
10:15falter, they remember Allah and they ask his forgiveness. May Allah give us the
10:21to repent to him on a daily basis. Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam
10:26used to seek istighfar more than hundred times a day. He was sinless, he was a
10:31prophet but he encouraged us to seek repentance to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala.
10:37So as an Ummah of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, we should
10:40repent to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala. Allah's anger decreases when we repent
10:46to him. Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala opens the doors of opportunities and Allah
10:50subhanahu wa'ta'ala opens the door of sustenance when you repent to him and do
10:58good deeds on a daily basis. Make people happy, reach out to others, be generous,
11:06give charity. Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala will forgive you and Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala
11:11will give you happiness. Help us build an Islamic studio at
