00:00The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Hassan, told the government to activate the evacuation plan to bring back the Malaysians in Dhaka, Bangladesh, including 124 students.
00:15Muhammad said the decision was made in line with the rampant corruption situation in the country.
00:21The Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday said that Malaysian students who were affected by the current situation in Bangladesh had been moved to the Suruhan Jaya Tinggi building for their safety.
00:32As of Friday, of the 95 Malaysian students in Bangladesh, two had left Dhaka recently with the help of Suruhan Jaya Tinggi.
00:42The government of Bangladesh has implemented a state of emergency all over the country as a response to the increase in violence and demonstrations that have caused the internet to be cut off, the data network to be easily switched off, and public transport to be disrupted.
00:57The demonstration started by the group of students is aimed at opposing the government's system of working capital.
