How Does Free Will Work?
If all events that occur in life are pre-determined and pre-destined, then what is the meaning of free will? Where do we have free will and exercise the same in our lives?

00:00I just want to know, is all events in life happening day to day?
00:05Is it always this time or pre-determined?
00:09Then what is the meaning of free will?
00:12Whatever we are suffering in this life, thoughts or speech or action,
00:18everything is a discharge.
00:20So for one life, it is a pre-determined or it's a destiny, whatever you say.
00:25But it's a discharge of past life.
00:27Whatever we have made past life, whatever causes made in past life,
00:32that will come in this life as a result.
00:35Just like the student is writing paper in examination,
00:40Hindi, Geography, History, Science, Maths,
00:45and all subject, on the day of result, what he has to do?
00:50He will get result. But what result he will get?
00:53Teacher has no partiality, but according to whatever he has written,
00:57he will get result.
00:59Somebody gets 90%, somebody gets 80%, somebody 70%.
01:03But according to whatever he has written, he will get result.
01:07Like that, whatever we have made cause in past life,
01:10we are getting result.
01:12His body, all these relations, father, mother, friends,
01:16other sister, brother, husband, children,
01:20father-in-law, mother, everything is a result of past life karma.
01:25So now free will is inside what is your intention,
01:32so attachment, hatred, or you are having some negativity for somebody,
01:40you are seeing fault of others, that is a free will.
01:43You can see positive or negative, or hatred or attachment.
01:49Due to ignorance we are doing attachment or hatred.
01:52That Ragdvesh is a charging karma for next life.
01:57So whatever we are suffering, thoughts or speech or action or relation,
02:01is really discharged.
02:03And in that relation we are saying, this is wrong, they should not do this,
02:07we are seeing fault of others.
02:09And that part, when we are giving some negative opinion, good opinion,
02:15at that time we are charging new karma.
02:18That charging part is a cause for next life.
02:22And that charge part is a free will.
02:25You can charge negative, you can charge positive,
02:28or you can stop charging of new karma.
02:31That is also our free will.
02:34After Jnana Ceremony we will get such a Jnana of our pure soul.
02:40Who is the doer, who am I?
02:42And that knowledge, that awareness, that will help you to stop charging of new karma.
02:48That is my free will.
02:50So we have free will, but we cannot change result.
02:56Just like the student got 73% mark, mark sheet,
03:02so he cannot change, but for next examination he can prepare.
03:05This is my history is weak, my maths is weak,
03:08I have to learn more, use guide, test tuition, something,
03:14but he will improve his study.
03:16So for next examination he can improve.
03:18That is free will.
03:20And whatever result is a result of past karma,
03:23that is discharge karma, we cannot change,
03:26we cannot stop, we cannot control.
