00:00How is mum?
00:01Well, it's the impossible question to answer.
00:03One, because she is quite private.
00:06And two, because as anyone knows who
00:08lives with a terminal diagnosis, you live from scan to scan.
00:12She's on this miracle drug, which seems to be working.
00:15We don't have any long-term data for how long it will work.
00:17But at the moment, it's working.
00:20And so we are, yes, we live scan to scan,
00:22but we're really enjoying what we have.
00:25And we heard there from the clip, obviously,
00:27you know, it's something that she really
00:29believes in, this whole sort of having dignity and dying,
00:33isn't it?
00:33And I know that she sort of said that, yes, she still
00:36has faith into Keir Starmer at the moment,
00:38but is obviously conscious about the time this is going to take.
00:43So we feel like we're living in an hourglass
00:45and the sand is pouring on us.
00:47And there will come a point where our heads are no longer
00:49above it.
00:50And I really want the politicians, the MPs,
00:54the people of this country to realize that we all
00:57have a choice in how we live.
00:59And I want us to have a choice in how we die.
01:01And this is not about shortening anyone's life.
01:05It's about shortening their death.
