00:00My very first footy boot. Put it on when I was 8 years old and little did I know
00:04football was gonna be such a massive part of my life for a very very long
00:07time. Got to play professionally for a little while, got to meet some great
00:11people, got to make some great friends, and got to learn a lot about myself.
00:15It means a lot. I want to introduce you to something else though.
00:20Eden Blighton. A little bit bent now but that's alright. One of the first books I
00:25ever read taught me all about imagination, escapism, and that you didn't
00:29necessarily have to go outside to have fun. I've got something else I want to
00:32introduce you to. Like this. A Walkman. Used to record all my music onto a tape
00:38then play it in this and sit at the back of the school bus listening to it on the
00:41way to and from school. You'd never catch me without the headphones on, bopping away.
00:45Loved, loved, loved these things. Got something else that I love too.
00:51Like this. Rice and poor oversource. Reminds me of growing up when mum and I
00:58didn't really have a whole heap of cash, we couldn't really afford protein to have
01:00with the meal, so we'd just chuck some poor oversource over rice. I thought I
01:04was eating like a king. Still do sometimes. Anyway, I want to show you
01:08something else. This is my mum's scarf. Well, it's my scarf. My mum knitted it for me
01:15and I absolutely love it. Keeps me warm but also reminds me just how much she
01:20loves me and that's heaps.
