00:00And you're sitting at the RNC now. What do you think is the future of the Republican Party

00:06and this election going forward? Because as you said, it feels like after Saturday,

00:11everything in this election and really in the political landscape has changed.

00:16Correct. I think the future of our country, the future of our party is very bright. And we have

00:22to get back to the tenets of our constitution. We have to get back to the fact that this is not a

00:26democracy. This is a constitutional republic. And this is about ensuring the federal government

00:31does our job to keep our country safe without overreaching on other states. Keep in mind,

00:37every state has a governor, every state has a state legislature, they have a state senate,

00:42they have a state house. And why is that? So that everyone could have power over their local

00:48communities. It's very difficult to get to the federal level and to speak to a congressman like

00:53me. I represent almost a million people in Houston, Texas, but all politics are local. So

00:58when we return the power back to the states, we're actually returning the power back to the people.
