00:00Martial arts for me is about its benefits to me personally and how I can support others for it to benefit them also.
00:09I am not out here to prove I am better than the next man. I am out to prove to myself I can be better than I was yesterday.
00:17I am not one to compete with others to prove my abilities for my abilities need not be proven.
00:22When I got to nine years old that's when he started to teach me.
00:26But he didn't teach me an actual style. What he taught me is what I now call ROAR.
00:31R-O-A-R.
00:33Which is the art of response, observation, awareness and reaction.
00:43ROAR.
00:44ROAR. You understand?
00:46So he didn't teach me an actual art.
00:48So what he did teach me, even though he knew arts, because he also went into whaling as well from my uncle.
00:54He just taught me just to react and be aware of my environment.
00:59I will never get into worthless arguments about whose art is more superior. For that to me is a waste of energy.

01:11I do not train to play silly games. I train and teach for a purpose.
01:18Much respect for all who take part within the martial arts for the betterment of self and not for the purpose of feeding their ego and intentions of taking advantage of others.
