00:07used in the Microsoft Cloud paralyzed critical infrastructures such as hospitals, banks,
00:14media and the aviation sector.
00:16In recent years, the European Union has already strengthened its cybersecurity, but experts
00:22say companies will need to do more.
00:26On a regulatory level, the European Union passed a directive called NIS2 in 2022,
00:32which will now be transposed into Member States and which will strengthen cybersecurity
00:38in more than 18 sectors in all Member States.
00:41This means that companies, not only on the CAC 40 side, but also SMEs,
00:48will have to raise their cybersecurity level to have more vigilance.
00:55So, what are the lessons to be learned at a European level?
01:00You have to ask yourself about the location of your cloud and cybersecurity providers.
01:06Both should be in the European space so as not to rely on foreign technological solutions
01:13that, as we can see today, have an impact on our machines, on our servers, on our data every day.
01:20Experts also warn that companies and individuals should be better trained on cybersecurity.
