00:00A tough start for Rory McIlroy as he shot seven over par on day one of the open.
00:05Yeah, difficult day. Yeah, you know, I felt like I did, you know, okay for the first part
00:11of the round and then, you know, missed the green at the postage stamp there and left
00:15it in and made a double, but still felt like I was in, you know, reasonable enough shape
00:20being a couple over through nine, you know, thinking that I could, you know, maybe get
00:25those couple shots back, try to shoot even par, something like that. And then, you know,
00:30hitting the ball out of bounds on 11, making a double there.
00:33Veteran Tiger Woods also enjoyed a torrid start as he posted 14 over.
00:38I didn't do a whole lot of things right today. Made that putt on third hole and then I think
00:45I had what, I think three putts today. I didn't hit my irons very close and didn't give myself
00:52a whole lot of looks today. So I need to shoot something in the mid-60s tomorrow to
00:58get something going on the weekend.
