00:00Well, the good news is, is Joel says, Scotty, that he's starting to feel better and that
00:07he's starting to get in the mix a little bit more.
00:10Here's MB.
00:11He says he doesn't feel hurt at all.
00:12My nerves don't work.
00:13I'm still getting back and forth slowly.
00:14I can't tell, you know, the start.
00:15But as the game goes along, I'm starting to find my groove.
00:16So I'm starting to keep building up, but I'm sure by the time we get to play, I'll be
00:22a different story.
00:32That sounds nice.
00:34But if the games that matter were like a month from now, they're in a week.
00:38And I don't believe he's going to be where he thinks he's going to be a week from now.
00:41I just don't.
00:42I'll say this much.
00:43If he's right and he's, you know, healthy, you know, even though he's a walker, you know,
00:51he comes to me, walks up the floor and he sets up shop, gets the ball, draws contact,
00:57gets the call, goes to the line, makes the free throws.
01:00I've never seen a guy get more calls in my life than Joel Embiid.
01:04He is the number one guy all time that I've ever remembered that gets to the line.
01:10I've never seen anything like it.
01:11So what they really need to do is put him in the block, give him the ball, and he's
01:15going to get fouled.
01:16He's going to go to the line.
01:17The guy knocks down free throws.
01:20And if he's right, he is brutal to guard.
01:25And I think that's why Kerr won't get off of that buzz of starting him.
01:30They know what he does when he's in there.
01:32If he gets the rock, he gets fouled, he goes to the line, he makes the free throws.
01:35That's all there is to it.
01:36You want athleticism.
01:37You want hops.
01:38You want run and gun.
01:40You want transition ball.
01:41That's when you're talking Davis and Bam out of bio and particularly out of bio.
01:47I think Bam out of bio gets up and down the floor way better than Davis.
01:51But I think, you know, for me personally, defensively, I think Davis is better.
01:57And I think they both can put the ball in the hole mid-range, right?
02:02Like Bam out of bio pops out in that high post and hits that shot all the time.
02:06And then I think Davis can hit from anywhere.
02:08He can hit from the three wing.
02:10He can hit from mid-range.
02:11He can hit from the low block baseline or inside.
02:15I like those two offensively more.
02:17But when it comes to getting the rock and getting fouled and getting to the line, that's
02:21why Embiid's starting.
