The most and least expensive streets in Blackpool have been revealed.

A recent study by Property Solvers revealed the most and least expensive streets in the resort based on average house sales.

The average house price in Blackpool is £149,935 using HM Land Registry data.

The average property price increased by £27,889 (21.3%) over the last 5 years and increased by £5,575 (3.64%) over the last 12 months.

Over the last year, there were 1,738 residential property sales – a decrease of 916 transactions (-52.70%) relative to the previous year. The majority of house sales (447) were in the £104,000 - £138,000 range. Then came properties in the £138,000 - £172,000 range, where 375 were sold within this price bracket.

Excluding fall throughs, properties are taking an average of 87 days to sell (from being listed to completion) and the average difference between asking and sold prices is £-7,075 (-2%).

In June 2024, there were 430 new estate agency instructions, 308 agreed home sales and 235 property price reductions.

00:06The first stop of the tour is Palatine Road, specifically a block of flats called Kingsley Court.
00:11A 15 minute walk away from Blackpool Tower, the average sale here is just over £37,000 with the most recent sale in May being £39,950.
00:20The location offers great access to the town centre and other attractions in the resort and is also next door to the Gateway Campus at the Blackpool and Fylde College.
00:28A dedicated campus for 16 to 18 year olds.
00:31The building is also next to a number of bus stops which serve the number 3 bus.
00:36This service takes passengers to the large Tesla Extra store at Clifton Retail Park as well as Cleveley's.
00:42For the most expensive street, we'll be travelling to South Shore which is about a 30 minute drive from here.
00:47So that was actually only a 15 minute drive and I'm here on Division Lane where the average sale is £682,010
00:54with the most recent sale in August 2023 being £499,995.
01:01The street is conveniently located near Blackpool Retail Park as well as the Liveham St Anne's Garden Centre
01:06and on nearby Common Edge Road there are bus stops which serve the 11B bus.
01:10These take passengers to Liveham and Blackpool Town Centre.
01:13Here we're about a 15 minute drive away from Blackpool Town Centre, 5 minutes away from St Anne's and 11 minutes away from Liveham.
01:20The houses on this street are spaced apart against a gorgeous countryside backdrop but off-street parking is limited.
01:26The average house price in Blackpool is just under £150,000.
