00:00Hi everyone, it's Farmer Georgia here and I am with Farmer Ruth who's in the driving seat
00:05because we're off on another zoo pickup. So as you know, we're going to be getting prairie dogs
00:10and today's the day we're going to go pick them up from South Lake Safari Zoo.
00:14So we've got another hefty drive, I mean what is it, two hours?
00:21But traffic is good. Yeah, it's really good. And the sun is shining. Yeah, it's a nice day,
00:25traffic's good, so we've managed to shave off a few minutes on this time. So we'll get there
00:31about lunchtime and we'll catch up with you when we get there. We're not sure if we can film on
00:35site yet, but we'll just see what happens when we get there. So yeah, about an hour left,
00:43so yeah, see you when we get there.
00:47All right guys, so we've been in, we've collected them, we couldn't film on site,
00:51so we couldn't film the catch up or anything, but they're just behind us in this one crate here,
00:54we didn't need the extra crate. But we've got them in here, they're just busy getting comfy
00:58for the ride home, making their little beds. We've got plenty of bedding, plenty of hay in there,
01:02so they are fully stocked up for the journey home. It's very bright here. Yeah. So yeah,
01:06let's get them back. Turn and burn. Yeah, let's go. Right, so we're back, we're in the enclosure,
01:12we've brought them in here. So it's been a bit of a long journey for them, but they are looking
01:16like they're ready for a bit of a leg stretch now, so we're just going to open this door
01:19and leave them to it. They might come straight out or they might take the time and potter out
01:23completely up to them, but we won't force them. So yeah, let's get this door open and see what
01:26they do. This is a really easy way to get out. So that's the first one out, that's one.
01:42Got four left in the box. Is this one going to be the next one?
01:48I don't know if I'm so brave.
01:58Oh, two out. Number two out.
01:59Hey, don't be biting me.
02:08Okay, so that is now all five out and about the enclosure. We've got a mixture of ages.
02:14Some were born last year and some are a bit older than that. Now, these normally live to around
02:17eight or nine years old, so we've got some youngsters in here that hopefully we've got
02:21a long time with and they're just having a busy old explore. They're learning what these beds are,
02:26what these tunnels are, how to get underground and also having a look at the edges of the
02:31enclosure as well. Just having, again, a little bit of an explore. These do make lots of noises.
02:36You might well hear them making all those different sounds that they have. They've got
02:39different alarm calls, different chatter calls when they're talking to each other. There's all
02:43sorts going off with these guys. A very, very busy little animal. All right, so we'll leave them
02:47settle in. We'll leave them there and we'll do an update for you very soon once we've settled in a
02:52little bit more, but I hope you enjoy them. Come and visit them. All right, thank you and
02:56yeah, we'll see you again another time. Bye-bye.
