00:03Quentin, thank you so much.

00:05Governor, it's so wonderful to be here with you.

00:08And I'm sorry you have to be on the campaign trail telling your story.

00:13But thank you for your courage.

00:14Really appreciate you.

00:16Everyone, I want to speak directly to American women to tell you that there's

00:22only one team on the ballot who cares about you, and that's the Biden-Harris

00:28team. The Trump advance ticket does not care about women, and we are here to

00:37sound the alarm about what's at stake in this November election, especially for

00:42women. We know that since Donald Trump sought to overturn Roe v. Wade, and he

00:48was successful in doing that, one in three women in America now live in a

00:56state with an abortion ban.

00:58That's one in three women of childbearing age.

01:01It is an abomination that this is the vision that they have for all American women.

01:08And we need to only look at what they've said and what they've done and what they

01:13are planning to do.

01:15We need to believe them when they tell us what they want to do.

01:19We know that Donald Trump called the fact that states now have the power to do to

01:27Amanda what the state of Texas did.

01:30He called that a beautiful thing.

01:33We know that abortion bans put women and their health at risk.

01:39In fact, in Texas, the infant mortality rate has gone through the roof.

01:46We also know that because in Texas there are no exceptions, that there have been

01:54tens of thousands of women who've been raped, who have been forced to take the

02:00child to term after that rape.

02:04These women's lives have been transformed irrevocably, and that is the dark vision

02:11that Donald Trump and JD Vance have for all women across America.

02:18We can prevent this.

02:20We can stand up to that dark vision, and we can embrace the vision that the Biden-Harris

02:27campaign, the Biden-Harris administration, the Biden-Harris team and voters want for

02:33America.

02:34That is the vision where we trust women, where we want to protect women's reproductive

02:40freedom, where we recognize that abortion is health care, where we recognize that these

02:48bans are deadly and dangerous and harmful.

02:53And no one knows that story and the consequences of these awful abortion bans more than our

03:01next speaker, a fellow Texan who has a harrowing story.

03:07And again, I want to speak to the women of America and everyone who cares about the women

03:12in their lives, especially the women of childbearing age.

03:17We are sounding the alarm.

03:19There is much at risk for all of us, but we can defend women, fight for women, and stand

03:27up for women this November.
