00:00A player who's been involved in much speculation in recent weeks is Jacob Ramsey, one of the
00:12hottest youngsters to come through the Villa ranks in recent years. They've already knocked
00:16back a bid from Spurs, who are very keen on Ramsey, a player plus cash bid. It seems like
00:22that interest is not going to go away. How do you see this one playing out? He's someone
00:29who has suffered injuries last season but has had an impact at times under Unai Emery.
00:35Is he someone that Villa will want to keep at all costs or is it a case of if the right
00:39offer comes from Spurs then Villa will be willing to sell?
00:43I don't think you can say that about any player. I don't think there's any player you would
00:47want to keep at all costs. Clearly Jacob Ramsey was a big player for Villa before last season
00:55when he struggled with injuries. He's highly rated by Unai Emery and it's going to take
01:02considerable bid to get Villa to shift their position. The first one, whether it was a
01:08bid or a verbal offer or suggestion, how will people want to call it? £20 million plus
01:15Giovane Lo Celso, which was pretty much rejected flat out. The interest from Tottenham is interesting
01:21because Tottenham's technical director Johan Lange was Villa's sporting director for a while.
01:29He knows Jacob Ramsey as a player and knows what he can do so he's very keen on him.
01:35I think it's going to take much more to get Ramsey out of Villa this summer to be honest.
