00:00I spent last night looking through your financial filings, is, first question is, is Brianna
00:07Suggs still working on your campaign, there were no payments for her for May and June,
00:13and then the legal defense filings show that you spent a lot less on lawyers in the last
00:18three, on Wilmer Hale in the last three months compared to the previous ones.
00:21I think a lot of people would have expected some sort of response from, or an indictment
00:26or something from SDNY by now, we haven't seen anything.
00:28So I'm wondering, has there been any update in, in that federal investigation and, you
00:34know, why is there, is the spending down because there's less work for them to do?
00:38First of all, your question was a stupid one, okay?
00:43A lot of people were not expecting that, you were expecting it.
00:47And don't try to do what New Yorkers need and want and make it appear as though your
00:51opinions and your hopes and aspirations are what New Yorkers want, okay?
00:57The, my job is to run this city and stay focused on running this city.
01:02And that's what I'm doing.
01:03And part of that job is to raise the money, which I hate, by the way, raise the money
01:08to have a campaign.
01:09And New Yorkers responded.
01:10I mean, you know, raising the necessary money is part of the business.
01:15I've called for years, let's take money out of politics.
01:19No one should be calling New Yorkers asking for money.
01:22Let's give people the amount that you could spend.
01:25We're already giving money through the campaign's finance.
01:27I don't want to raise money.
01:29I don't want to spend hours raising money.
01:31But those are the rules of the game, and I have to follow the rules of the game.
01:34And you all talk about it, but you also all look at the followers to determine a person's
01:40political strength.
01:41So there's a level of hypocrisy in your reporting.
01:44Either money doesn't matter or it does matter.
01:47That is the question that's in.
01:48And when it comes down to Brianna, the amount of paperwork that the CFB requires for a campaign
01:57to do is unbelievable.
01:59The amount of skill that you need, the amount of training, the amount of documentations.
02:03And I must have a team that could do that.
02:06She's knowledgeable on it, and I'm happy that she's able to do that administrative part
02:10of the campaign for the administration.
