00:00The journey down from London to Berlin, how was it?
00:03Yeah, it wasn't too bad really. I mean, we drove down in two cars, didn't we?
00:06Stopped off in a few places.
00:08We did indeed, and it was an early start. We left at half four in the morning,
00:13driving all the way down to Folkestone, before getting Le Châtel,
00:17where you drive on and the train takes you all the way from Folkestone to Calais.
00:22After some pretty shocking singing and some more driving, we ended up in Cologne,
00:31which was a really great city. There was a fan zone there, it got us in the mood,
00:35and then the next day we were on a train to Berlin for the final.
00:39And the atmosphere here was amazing. There were fans from all over the world, English fans,
00:44Spanish fans, German fans, and the atmosphere just kept building until we made it into the fan zone,
00:50where 300,000 fans, and I would say about 80% of them were English as well,
00:56were all very excited until kick-off, where it went very quiet.
01:01When Spain scored, it was trouble, but when England scored,
01:04the fans went absolutely crazy. It was one of the best experiences.
01:14But that was short-lived, and the Spanish fans were celebrating victory.
01:19It was sad times, but nothing a Berlin kebab couldn't fix.
01:25In general, what was the atmosphere like in Berlin? Was it good?
01:29Yeah, it was buzzing. You're going down the street, there's parades of English fans.
01:34Yeah, mate, it was great, for sure.
01:37And then what was the mood like after?
01:40It wasn't actually as negative as we thought, really. I think everyone was in high spirits.
01:45I don't think anyone had the massive expectation of us actually winning it, right?
01:49So it wasn't actually that great in a tournament.
01:51No. I did convince myself that we were going to win, though.
01:54And I think...
01:55Yeah, you've always got to believe.
01:56Yeah.
01:57And it would have been nice, but it's still been a great weekend.
