00:00Hi, so I'm Anne Frances Hayes, Councillor Hayes for Staveley, and in my division are
00:09the villagers of Poolsbrook and Duckmington, and we're here today because Valencia, who
00:14run the Erin Landfill site at Duckmington, has made a request to extend the site to include
00:20a 35,000 square foot recycling centre. I will be here at the planning meeting to speak vehemently
00:30against this being approved. The residents in Poolsbrook and Duckmington have had horrendous
00:37problems from this site, both in terms of litter, flies, noise, and a horrendous foul smell that
00:48was ongoing for months. It took ages for us to get something done about this,
00:55and I don't want my residents to have to go through that any longer.
