00:00Art is my life, I've got to do it, and when you get the opportunity to do something big
00:06like this, it's just, honestly, it's beyond, because you can sit at home and draw but you
00:13get to bring what you love to everyone, especially public space art, it's a real proud moment,
00:19you know?
00:20I just think when you introduce art into people's lives on a scale like this, you just make
00:27them feel better, you help with their mental health and well-being, people start to take
00:33pride in the place, they look after it, you take ownership of it, and it's something to
00:37be really proud of when you've got a beautiful area that you've made even better, and it's
00:43for everyone to enjoy, including myself.
00:46These flowers are naturally found in Bailey Park, which I think is quite important because
00:51it's what we have here, it's what we see around, so you can walk around the park, you'll see
00:57all these beautiful flowers, then you'll come down here and it won't look out of place.
01:01These are all native to this park, which makes it ours, really, doesn't it?
01:07Watching it progress through the days and the weeks, it really starts to come alive,
01:13and it's just started to change the area, especially as it goes along with the theme
01:19of the other murals down here, I think it's really started to make this part, which was
01:23a little bit forgotten, really beautiful again, because it's a really beautiful area
01:27on its own, but hopefully we've made it better.
