00:04the Department of Social Welfare and Development immediately reached out to our fellow countrymen
00:10who are already suffering from flooding in the region of Barm and Zamboanga Peninsula.

00:21The Bangsamoro Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is now in a red alert status
00:27due to the severe effects of the flood.
00:30Since last weekend, rescue operations by various government agencies and local governments
00:37for those affected by the calamity have been underway.
00:41In Sinsuwat Avenue and several other places,
00:44the quick response team endured the heavy rain to alert residents as well as passengers on the road.
00:53In the town of Ligawasan, several barangays were almost flooded.
00:58Rescue teams used rubber boats to rescue the residents,
01:03including children and adults.
01:06In the town of Matanog in Maguindanao del Norte,
01:09the five individuals who were missing on July 9 were successfully rescued
01:16due to the widespread flooding in the town.
01:19The child was found with the help of the Philippine Coast Guard's K-9 Unit.
01:24At the same time, the government's assistance to our fellow countrymen was not in vain.
01:32Under the leadership of the Department of Social Welfare and Development,
01:36relief operations were carried out on both sides.
01:39The Disaster Response Management Division of the DSWD,
01:44which is made up of almost 4,000 family food packs,
01:47provided assistance to the families affected in Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte.
01:53While 6,000 boxes of family food packs were provided by the DSWD Field Office 9
02:00in various barangays in Zamboanga City.
02:03Yesterday, more than 1,000 families in the town of Malabang in Lanao del Sur
02:08received assistance from the Ministry of Social Services and Development.
02:13Under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation,

02:37According to NDRRMC, more than 60,000 families were affected by the floods in Mindanao.
02:45Most of them came from 5 regions, 11 provinces, and 38 cities and municipalities.
