00:00:00Hello friends here. Welcome to Friday Night Live Don Quixote episode 164.3. Okay. For
00:00:14martial arts, let's do
00:00:23jump roundhouse kick, okay? Okay. Okay. Okay, good. Five minutes break please. Thank you.
00:00:50Here we are. Good times.
00:01:20Okay.
00:01:45Okay.
00:02:05Okay.
00:02:30Okay.
00:02:55Okay.
00:03:20Okay.
00:03:45Okay.
00:04:10Okay.
00:04:35Okay.
00:05:00Okay.
00:05:25Okay.
00:05:41Okay, we are back.
00:05:46Let me, we'll have another show, okay?
00:06:00Okay.
00:06:30Okay.
00:06:39Okay.
00:06:43Yeah.
00:06:56Yeah, this Hawaiian teacher is from Ann Arbor, Michigan. The only Hawaiian teacher from Ann Arbor, Michigan where I graduated from law school. I was in Ann Arbor, Michigan law school before I came to Alaska. That was 2015, nine years ago. And yeah. Okay.
00:07:17So let's get back to mathematics.
00:07:25Yeah.
00:07:32Yeah.
00:07:38Okay.
00:07:52Second.
00:08:12Okay.
00:08:20Okay.
00:08:30And let me have some non-alcoholic beverages because I drank a lot this morning and I control my drinking, okay? So yeah, coconut juice. Yeah.
00:08:49Okay.
00:08:55Cheers.
00:09:02So, yeah.
00:09:09Okay.
00:09:38So, yeah.
00:09:43When the base is five, meaning smaller number is five. Okay. We call it base.
00:09:50Okay.
00:10:11Yeah.
00:10:14Okay.
00:10:43So, let's grab a brand new whiteboard, okay? And then we combine these two formulas, one for the left, one for the right base coefficients. Okay? So, yeah, sure. Then we need some space here. We grab a new whiteboard, okay? Cheers.
00:11:10Yeah.
00:11:15Okay.
00:11:25Okay.
00:11:37Okay.
00:12:05Thank you.
00:12:07All right. Yeah.
00:12:10Nice.
00:12:16Thank you.
00:12:18Bye-bye.
00:12:48Bye-bye.
00:13:18Bye-bye.
00:13:48Bye-bye.
00:14:16Well, before we grab a new whiteboard, let's look at the one we had before.
00:14:43Okay.
00:15:08So, let's look at the one we had before.
00:15:38All right.
00:16:09Okay.
00:16:28This is mind-blowing, okay? It's a lot of work.
00:16:42Let me charge my cell phone, okay? I'll be right back.
00:17:09I mean, okay.
00:17:15There's so many equations here, okay?
00:17:17N's formula, we found that.
00:17:20Now we have BN formula based on AN formula, okay?
00:17:23So, look at this, how long this formula is.
00:17:29But it works, okay? Yeah.
00:17:34When N is zero, it's supposed to be one, okay?
00:17:37So...
00:17:45Yeah, it works, okay.
00:17:48Wow.
00:17:50Cheers.
00:17:59That's the right formula.
00:18:01Now, left formula.
00:18:03When N is zero, does it work?
00:18:11It does.
00:18:14Okay.
00:18:17I think now we are ready to combine this, okay? Yeah.
00:18:25It's a big project, okay?
00:18:27Multi-tool, these whiteboards.
00:18:30Now, we'll put it together, okay? Yeah.
00:18:33I'm going to give a brand-new whiteboard.
00:18:38Cheers.
00:18:44Okay, yeah.
00:19:14Okay.
00:19:39There we go.
00:20:08Yeah.
00:20:30Yeah, I'm working hard.
00:20:40Happy Saturday afternoon.
00:20:41Yep.
00:20:50It is very nicely.
00:21:14Okay.
00:21:18So...
00:21:24Let's see.
00:21:31Cheers.
00:21:52Okay.
00:22:00So, let's analyze, okay?
00:22:04So, gamma function, which is greatest common divisor, okay? Yeah.
00:22:09So, 5, comma, 5 plus N.
00:22:20Okay?
00:22:295 plus N times C N.
00:22:37C N sequence, okay?
00:22:39Plus 5 times B N sequence, okay?
00:22:47Yeah.
00:22:50And...
00:22:59Let me bring the whiteboard up front so that I don't strain my neck.
00:23:14Oh, this is funny.
00:23:24Cheers.
00:23:43Well, B N is rather long formula, okay?
00:23:48So, we'll just start from here.
00:23:56It's long formula.
00:24:02We verified it, okay? It works.
00:24:09Believe or not, this formula works, okay? So...
00:24:19We verified it.
00:24:50So, yeah, raw algebra, there's brand new notation, right?
00:24:56But mathematicians, they do that all the time.
00:24:58When they write mathematical academic paper, yeah, they introduce brand new notation convention.
00:25:06Yeah, they do that all the time.
00:25:07So, yeah.
00:25:08Okay?
00:25:09So, yeah.
00:25:10Yeah, what we are doing is not too, too strange, okay?
00:25:19It's what mathematicians do, okay?
00:25:23Now, C N formula.
00:25:26Let me shuffle this whiteboard here.
00:25:35This was simpler.
00:26:04Okay?
00:26:07Yeah.
00:26:16Now, let's take five minutes break, okay?
00:26:19Yeah.
00:26:29Then we'll see when N is zero, whether it works or not, okay?
00:26:33Okay.
00:26:34Five minutes break, okay?
00:26:35Thank you.
00:26:43I'm sure it will work.
00:26:46We know when N is non-zero, it works.
00:26:48We verified it.
00:26:49But when N is zero, will it work?
00:26:52We'll see, okay?
00:26:53So, five minutes break, please.
00:26:56Thank you.
00:26:58Okay.
00:26:59Thank you.
00:27:00Okay.
00:27:01Thank you.

00:32:07Thank you.
00:32:08Thank you.
00:32:09Thank you.
00:32:10Thank you.
00:32:11Thank you.
00:32:12Thank you.
00:32:13Thank you.
00:32:14Thank you.
00:32:15Thank you.
00:32:16Thank you.
00:32:17Thank you.
00:32:27I'm nervous.
00:32:29Cheers.
00:32:30And excited at the same time.
00:32:32Oh boy.
00:32:33Cheers.
00:32:42Let's breathe, okay?
00:32:44let's go
00:32:59okay
00:33:02so gamma greatest common divisor of 5 plus 0
00:33:18comma 5
00:33:22is supposed to be 5 okay now does it work
00:33:30uh
00:33:37c0
00:33:41b0
00:33:44it does not work but that that's okay why
00:34:01index zero we introduced it to make it consistent sequence okay but it's not
00:34:12necessary that this formula works for 0 okay because greatest common divisor of 5 and 5
00:34:18that's 5 itself right we know what it is okay so we can qualify this formula
00:34:26saying
00:34:29n is
00:34:32more than zero
00:34:43when n is a positive integer
00:34:51well zeros just integer okay okay yeah n and zero they're both integers okay so
00:34:58okay okay no problem I was just wondering yeah it's zero case yeah it's
00:35:06artificial construction to make the to find that formula easier way okay but it
00:35:14doesn't have to work in our combined formula okay yes okay good to know okay
00:35:22yeah cheers
00:35:25you
00:35:27because when answer is trivial case okay okay
00:35:35good
00:35:40yeah
00:35:44now our next step okay we have Bessel coefficient formulas
00:35:51the two of them right left and right okay we can rename this as
00:36:02left and right okay
00:36:05you
00:36:12left and right left and right okay this is not logarithm it's not
00:36:25natural guess just L left and right okay good our next step it would be compare
00:36:36this formula with the other two that we found months ago maybe two months ago
00:36:43okay when base is 3 and when base is 2 okay
00:36:48that's the final spread okay so I have to look through those deco whiteboards
00:36:56because that was like two months ago okay so okay let's say five minutes back
00:37:01okay thank you yeah okay nice all right
00:37:14okay
00:37:18ah
00:37:23there we go yeah five minutes thank you
00:37:48you
00:38:18you
00:38:48you
00:39:18you
00:39:48you
00:40:18you
00:40:27you
00:40:29you
00:40:45okay
00:40:49ah old whiteboard
00:40:59five minutes okay so
00:41:15okay we found one
00:41:20okay
00:41:29let's take a look together that was like two months ago I think
00:41:38long long time ago
00:41:42not eons ago but still
00:41:50okay
00:41:53ah
00:41:55you
00:41:58let's relax how about that now time check
00:42:10okay
00:42:18it's been more than 30 minutes okay so
00:42:26we have more than one hour you know what yeah let's just go to Instagram live
00:42:31okay uh we did good job in mathematics okay now
00:42:36work and play right
00:42:40we'll do this tonight okay I don't do too much mathematics no
00:42:52okay
00:42:56work and play
00:43:03oh
00:43:06okay
00:43:24we worked now it's playtime okay
00:43:29so we're balancing and we we do mathematics for fun right
00:43:36yeah so advancement in science sure sure sure
00:43:40but uh
00:43:44we do mathematics when we enjoy it okay but otherwise
00:43:47yeah we just do something else okay so
00:43:52okay yeah
00:43:59okay
00:44:10hello friends yeah welcome to uh friday night live monthly
00:44:15instagram live edition yeah we just did some mathematics

00:50:08is legal in alaska oh right yeah also i have
00:50:12some friends who sell marijuana as well uh but
00:50:16oh really uh because it is legal in alaska but
00:50:20i don't smoke it because i don't need it i drink alcohol

00:54:17thank you thank you uh say one more time please
00:54:21the inspiration behind most of your work my friend wants to know
00:54:24you mean the novels yeah the novels uh it it's it's it's like
00:54:32mostly like a comedy comedy yeah a parody yeah comedy
00:54:38like jokes
00:54:45oh yes um in your next post wherever your next post is do you think you
00:54:49could put a capsule for us
00:54:52uh i guess we can write about
00:54:58maybe dinosaur
00:55:02dragon phoenix maybe
00:55:09what about skivvysaurus
00:55:12skivvysaurus sure yeah yeah
00:55:23that's a good idea yeah that is a good idea i quite like that
00:55:27yeah
00:55:39um yeah anyway uh mr lee it's good to talk to you

00:56:11yeah thank you thank you
00:56:16yeah thank you
00:56:21yeah our great friends from united kingdom right yeah
00:56:24the british gentleman yeah handsome handsome yeah and very smart
00:56:34very proud very proud yeah okay now let's take five minutes break okay
00:56:40thank you for joining us and uh good afternoon from alaska
00:56:46yeah five minutes break thank you yeah
00:56:49mighty proud yeah the future leaders absolutely now time
00:56:55checking daily motion real quick
00:56:59uh it's been less than one hour okay good
00:57:06yeah time was five minutes break please thank you
00:57:10yeah oh thank you thank you we'll take five minutes break please
00:57:15thank you fantastic
00:57:20yeah
00:57:25okay
00:57:29you
00:57:59you
00:58:29you
00:58:59you
00:59:29you
00:59:59you
01:00:29you
01:00:37probably
01:00:49you
01:00:59you
01:01:29you
01:01:59you
01:02:29you
01:02:59you
01:03:05you
01:03:15you
01:03:23okay welcome back friends
01:03:29yeah oh wonderful friends from all around the world fantastic international
01:03:35harmony that's what's great about social media
01:03:38right yeah absolutely welcome yeah
01:03:44very cool yeah so dinosaur is interesting history right archaeology
01:03:51like paleontology right yeah it's intriguing
01:03:56yeah absolutely yeah so
01:04:01like this movie jurassic park by uh mr director steven spielberg and his
01:04:07friends yeah this nice movie right it's
01:04:12i don't like some parts of that movie like violence i don't like that but
01:04:20also john williams the classical music composer right
01:04:27da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da
01:04:47goes like that right oh it's great music yeah
01:04:51john williams
01:04:54yeah
01:04:56it's very like sublime right yeah very ambitious project
01:05:01oh yeah
01:05:06yeah
01:05:10so talking about novels right can we resurrect
01:05:15dinosaur i mean uh i mean in a movie like jurassic park
01:05:22oh thank you thank you uh it's being recorded
01:05:26so you can check out the audio later okay but thank you
01:05:29yeah so
01:05:33guys there's always next time okay so but yeah welcome
01:05:36cheers yeah thank you yeah
01:05:45well i mean donald trump i see put some bets in him okay
01:05:49it's like anybody else some good some bad right yeah so
01:05:56okay so okay in novel movie
01:06:03fiction yeah they resurrect dinosaur right
01:06:12okay yeah i i will check out the news later okay
01:06:17yeah okay yeah but we are against violence we are
01:06:22against crimes okay so yeah
01:06:28now let's talk about dinosaur okay is this scientifically possible
01:06:34to resurrect dinosaur
01:06:38well i'm a scientist so uh it's like this okay dna
01:06:47deoxy
01:06:53what does dna stand for deoxyribonucleic acid
01:07:01okay
01:07:05uh the thing is this okay dna in biology
01:07:12it's in the nucleus of a cell okay
01:07:18what does dna do in biology
01:07:25molecular biology okay yeah watson and crick yeah the
01:07:31x the x-ray like crystallography right yeah so they figured out this double
01:07:38helix structure of dna all right
01:07:42and they got uh not academy no prize for it
01:07:49right yeah
01:07:52so in molecular biology cellular biology okay
01:07:57so uh dna dna's job what does dna do
01:08:04it's like computer programming okay so it encodes
01:08:08protein amino acid sequence i know about this because i do
01:08:15take a lot of classes in biology both in medicine wisconsin university and also
01:08:19cornell university okay i did two years in cornell
01:08:25after medicine wisconsin university okay but i dropped out okay
01:08:30typically like phd is like five-year program i dropped after two years
01:08:34and my concentration was uh computational biology
01:08:40like bioinformatics in computer science department okay
01:08:44part of that is sequence analysis like dna
01:08:48right atgc right yeah that's the four alphabets
01:08:58four alphabet letters characters in dna language okay
01:09:09so what the dna does is to uh
01:09:20design
01:09:23proteins okay yeah protein alphabet
01:09:29it's like a through z something like that okay amino acid
01:09:33sequence okay yeah so and but when it comes to dinosaur
01:09:43there were like 66 millions of okay so uh
01:09:50protein rots the amino acids they get broken down by bacteria
01:09:58all right and so does dna it degenerates
01:10:02okay so uh in the movie uh jurassic park
01:10:09yeah they extracted this dinosaur
01:10:15dna from mosquito who extracts some blood from
01:10:21dinosaur okay uh but that's pure fiction okay so uh
01:10:26scientifically uh that's not quite possible
01:10:31because dna did over time they break down
01:10:35like bacteria they eat it okay so uh i'm sorry okay but scientifically it's
01:10:42not quite possible to resurrect dinosaur
01:10:48but in the future what future generation can do is this okay
01:10:57they can experiment with like dna recombination technique
01:11:01genetic engineering and then a design of brand new dna
01:11:08species to make a brand new
01:11:13biological species they might look like dinosaur
01:11:20that that is possible
01:11:25yeah so there will be resurrection of dinosaur
01:11:30okay
01:11:32it will be expensive to feed a dinosaur
01:11:36it will take a lot of wait dinosaur that
01:11:40could be horrible omnivore or carnivore right
01:11:44but they're big so uh it will take a lot of money to feed them
01:11:54okay yeah now let's take five minutes break okay
01:12:00yep five minutes back thank you yeah okay
01:12:06yeah thank you for the news updates yeah yeah i'll check out after the show
01:12:10okay sure yeah uh in the other motion time check
01:12:19uh we have more than 30 minutes left okay good
01:12:23okay i keep track of time yeah of course five minutes back thank you yep
01:12:31okay
01:12:39okay
01:12:53you
01:13:23you
01:13:53you
01:14:23you
01:14:53you
01:15:17okay welcome back
01:15:23you
01:15:27no we are talking about biology right yeah sure
01:15:30uh resurrection of dinosaurs it is possible
01:15:34yeah yeah
01:15:39oh in the news i'll check out the news after the showcase so uh yeah
01:15:47okay uh yeah i'll check out the news okay
01:15:54after the show okay uh we're talking about biology okay so
01:15:58science okay
01:16:03so resurrection of dinosaurs it is possible okay so
01:16:07in the npr i uh heard that they are trying to resurrect
01:16:12mammoth mammoth it's like a
01:16:19big wooly elephant who used to live in
01:16:27alaska right yeah
01:16:32so yeah and uh it was interesting
01:16:40they went to ebay
01:16:45online internet okay and they went to ebay and found this
01:16:51sample of this like mammoth
01:16:55in the ebay okay that's creative approach to science okay they found
01:17:02some sample of uh mammoth the wooly elephant back in the days okay
01:17:08they found they purchased in the ebay okay so
01:17:12this innovative approach in science okay so
01:17:15oh yeah
01:17:22and then uh they say uh they found some dna that sample there okay
01:17:28okay okay uh i don't think it's complete dna though
01:17:33okay because dna they do break down quite quickly okay so okay but
01:17:40they're trying
01:17:43to uh resurrect mammoth wooly hairy elephant okay oh yeah
01:17:50that could be very interesting project
01:17:54um
01:17:58there's some scientists say in the npr show right
01:18:02like uh yeah
01:18:07maybe there's some danger there okay to resurrect
01:18:11wooly mammoth
01:18:14environmental harm there's some concern about
01:18:19some scientists but i'm not concerned at all okay so
01:18:23if you resurrect dinosaur or mammoth i don't see any harm there
01:18:30okay i think it's fine okay i think this is fun
01:18:37yeah
01:18:42so biology genetics has been advanced
01:18:48molecular level okay yeah yeah welcome yeah
01:18:59yes so it's it'll be very interesting to see
01:19:04how uh science evolves in time
01:19:12oh yeah
01:19:15yeah
01:19:22cheers
01:19:28yeah so
01:19:37yeah yeah very cool yeah yeah
01:19:43yeah
01:19:53so molecular biology is about dna okay deoxy
01:19:57ribonucleus nucleic acid okay uh
01:20:04these days yeah bioengineers they can construct dna like piece by piece atgc
01:20:13right uh
01:20:16and design a brand new species
01:20:22okay uh maybe not today but in the future okay
01:20:25yeah yeah yeah it's fascinating
01:20:33oh yeah
01:20:40it's like a little bit like mechanical engineer when they create brand
01:20:47new robot robotics artificial intelligence again
01:20:51highly highly uh advanced these days okay so
01:20:56yeah i'm all for it yeah absolutely welcome
01:21:00yeah yeah so biology mechanical engineering like robots brand
01:21:07new species uh it is some similar to them
01:21:23oh okay the news uh well i haven't checked it out yet but
01:21:27um yeah we are against crimes we are against violence okay so uh
01:21:34yeah uh i'm very sorry about all these crimes violence
01:21:41very sorry about that okay so uh yeah
01:21:47uh i'm sorry yeah yeah uh i mean
01:21:59in america yeah we have guns i have guns okay so
01:22:03uh but
01:22:07i was in the u.s army okay we are trying to
01:22:13uh use
01:22:18ar-15 m16 assault rifle as u.s army soldiers okay
01:22:25but gun safety lesson very important okay so we
01:22:29we do not like violence we do not like crimes
01:22:32okay so
01:22:36let's take five minutes break okay and we'll talk about u.s army career okay
01:22:40as our friends suggested okay sure yeah uh time to click on the motion
01:22:54uh we have more than 30 minutes left
01:22:58okay we'll take five minutes break okay thank you
01:23:03yeah five minutes break and i'll share with you
01:23:06uh my u.s army career okay yeah five minutes okay thank you
01:23:10yeah
01:23:14yeah so not much arts okay yeah self-defense very important
01:23:18okay five minutes yeah thank you
01:23:30okay
01:23:36you
01:24:06you
01:24:36you
01:25:06you
01:25:36you
01:25:48okay we're back welcome back
01:25:55yeah welcome back yeah we're back and uh
01:26:02yeah i'm doing good thank you yeah
01:26:10yeah look i'm sorry about all this gun violence
01:26:14happening in america i'm very sorry okay so
01:26:17uh that's why we emphasize education of martial arts
01:26:21okay so uh it's so important yeah martial arts lessons okay so
01:26:30okay i'm sorry about all this gun violence happening in america
01:26:34i i'm sorry okay yeah check out the news after the show okay
01:26:45so when i was in the u.s army okay i was in active duty okay we love
01:26:52appreciate reservists national guards many of my friends are doing
01:26:59uh
01:27:03reservists national guards okay yeah i've made friends there okay so
01:27:08uh
01:27:12okay so but i was an active duty service in the u.s army for four years
01:27:18between uh 2009 and 2013 okay so that's how i got my g.i. bill and after
01:27:24that i went to law school the g.i. bill okay yeah
01:27:30so i have no school debt okay yeah u.s army paid for it okay so um
01:27:37but when i was when i was in the u.s army yeah we are trained weapon trained
01:27:42yeah ai-15 uh the m16 back in the days it's called also rifle okay
01:27:50uh but uh i i deployed to afghanistan too between uh 2011 2012 one year okay
01:27:59but i was lucky i my job in u.s army was electrician for helicopters okay so
01:28:06uh i never got outside the base in the afghanistan it was big place international base okay
01:28:14and we were never once attacked
01:28:20and uh so i never saw combat but i do i had combat badge because i was deployed to
01:28:30technical combat zone okay so the only time i used
01:28:38also rifle m16 air 15 was when uh i need to re-certify
01:28:46yeah target gun range target shooting paper target okay in afghanistan okay
01:28:54yeah it was mandatory so yeah i passed the test yeah
01:29:03but in afghanistan when we deployed as u.s army soldiers back in 2011
01:29:11we carried this air 15 was loaded with real bullets they're not blanks they're real bullets
01:29:19okay we carried that air 15 rifle as junior elite soldiers e4 specialist that's what i my rank was
