00:00So how did you invent, like, when did you invent the game?
00:202018 is what we're thinking this.
00:23That summer is when it sort of started.
00:26He had an idea for it.
00:29Okay, usually whoever can put down the most at one time starts.
00:34I got four.
00:35I got three.
00:36Okay, we'll start with that.
00:39So he gets, put down four tiles, he gets four points.
00:43Four points, yeah.
00:44One, two, three, four.
00:46And you take four more to make sure you have six again for your next move.
00:50And he's put down four, they're all part of the word family,
00:56and you can only put six in one row, nothing more.
00:59You have to have one of each color and one of each letter.
01:02And I have to make sure when I look at what I want to put down that I don't,
01:06that there isn't that letter already in the row or that color already.
01:10So you have to.
01:11So I put down these three.
01:13So I get three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven.
01:17It was before Christmas in November we were going to make the game for our kids
01:24and we kept thinking are we going to get it done or are we not going to get it done.
01:29But finally before Christmas we made them.
01:32I just cut pieces with a saw and I just marked them on there by hand.
01:35Very hand made.
01:36Very, very poorly by the way.
01:39But that gives me one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
01:44I think overall it was probably at least six months or so that we played it
01:49until we had a lot of the things figured out.
01:52Like with how many points do you give if they make an actual family?
01:57How many do you get if you make a family all in purple or all in blue or yellow?
02:02And just different things like that.
02:05I would say about six months and then we had the very basics done.
02:09It's been three years and we play it two or three times a day.
02:12Oh yeah.
02:13Because it just keeps your mind sharp, keeps you thinking.
02:17Yeah.
02:18And keeps your motor skills half decently because if you're all like this
02:21you could maybe mess it all over the place.
02:24So I think it's a very interesting game.
02:28Very beneficial game.
02:32So we'll go with that.
02:35So the process forward so now you're going to get the patent
02:38and then approach the game companies?
02:40Now we're going to approach the game companies and see if anybody will buy the idea.
02:45Then they develop it themselves and make the game.
02:52Yeah.
02:53So in between that, so if somebody wanted to get it
02:56then could they contact you to be put on a mailing list?
02:59Oh yeah.
03:00We would definitely put it on the mailing list.
03:03And when it's ready or when you have something?
03:05Yeah.
03:06That would be awesome.
03:09It's not that we, I don't know, we just enjoy the game
03:12I think it's got potential and I always say if God gives you something
03:16then don't throw it in the drawer.
03:19Do something with it.
03:20Yeah, I agree with you.
03:25Good job.
03:29And that's the game.
03:30Yeah.
