00:00I know I love the city, where I was born in, but my roots go way back further to the land.

00:12I'm Farmer Jared and I'm looking for a girl to write my next country love song about.

00:24I work on a sheep farm outside of Stanthorpe in Queensland.

00:28There's five and a half thousand acres.

00:31There's about a thousand head of sheep on the farm at the moment.

00:35I really do love this place.

00:37The view in the morning as the sun's coming up and the dew's burning off the grass,

00:41that fills me up with happiness.

00:43What I love about it is it reminds me of my childhood.

00:46It is tied so deeply to my family roots.

00:49My great-grandfather established his own farm which was sold nearly three decades ago

00:54and it would mean the world to me if I could put it back in my family name and my children to grow up there.

01:00I've chosen two labours of love.

01:02There's the music and there's farming.

01:04Both is not for the money.

01:06You do it because you love it.

01:08If I can have a partner by my side who understands that and is able to push me

01:12when it gets a little hard for me to raise my head, then that's important to me.

01:18I suppose I'd say I'm a good catch.

01:20Catch and release.

01:22Yeah, maybe.

01:25I think I've got certain attributes that do make me a pretty decent catch.

01:29I can cook, I can clean, I can sew.

01:31A lot of people can't do that, especially blokes these days.

01:34I reckon it's about time that we find someone to fall in love with, don't you think?
