Hungarian scientists capture majestic wild horses in their natural habitats thanks to drones

Just a few minutes of aerial recording can help to draw conclusions about the past and future of the endangered species.

00:31We used two drones during these observations.

00:35One drone was flying high enough to capture the whole herd

00:40and these widows served for the movement analysis.

00:44And the other drone was flying quite low

00:49and went very close to the horses

00:52to ensure the individual identification during the widows.

01:05Something of future direction that we are trying to apply

01:10artificial intelligence to actually replace this really labor-intensive work

01:16which was done by humans.
