Sophie Mei Lan Malin asks if it really is a taste of Naples in Yorkshire.
Transcript
00:00Park Row in Leeds on a sunny day could be mistaken for some parts of the
00:06beautiful part of southern Italy Napoli where I used to live. I went to try out
00:12their Sunday menu to find out if it really is an authentic version of
00:17Neapolitan food. You may recognize some of the interior of this restaurant as it
00:24did used to be Gino De Campo's but now it's Riva Blue and yes of course we're
00:32gonna start with some aperitif. The Sunday menu is limited but we'd rather
00:38that it be delicious. They did let me as a vegetarian choose off the main menu as well and there was fun a
00:48festa going on with a DJ dancing and even the Sun was shining outside.
00:56Everything is handmade from the pastas to the pizzas to the meatballs and even
01:03the desserts much to my daughter's delight. Now Athena my daughter has never
01:08actually been to Italy yet but honestly this is as good as it can get because
01:16the food was incredible, the music and atmosphere. It was less rough around the
01:22edges than some of my beloved parts of Napoli that I love but it was certainly
01:28dining in style with a modern twist to the cuisine. Of course we had to finish
01:35with the coffee and my husband Danny tried the platter of desserts and now
01:41anyone who's been to Italy knows it's all about the desserts.
