00:00Assalam-o-Alaikum. Welcome to Mahnoor Abdullah. I am your friend, your host, Saqib Hasan.
00:07I hope you all are doing well.
00:11Since I have a technical background, I have brought a technical video for you today.
00:16Because you know that in Pakistan, labor is at its peak at this time.
00:22Electricity units, etc.
00:25100-200 units is a normal thing.
00:28But the bill for 100-200 units is around Rs. 7000-Rs. 8000.
00:33And those whose consumption is 400-500 units,
00:37you can imagine what will be their bill.
00:41Now, the power crisis in a sense,
00:44like electricity units, etc.
00:48I will take it as a power crisis.
00:51People are converting their homes to solar.
00:56In any case, on-grid or off-grid,
00:59whichever way they want to convert it or are doing it.
01:04This video is for those people whose usage is 300-400 units per month.
01:12They will benefit a lot from this video.
01:16So those who have not subscribed to the channel yet,
01:19please like, share and subscribe.
01:22I hope you will like my video.
01:24What happens is that people think that we have to install a solar panel.
01:30There is a lot of load shedding or the bill for electricity is too high.
01:33So what do they do?
01:35They just go out and catch a vendor.
01:38They tell him to install a solar panel in my house.
01:41Now what happens is that a solar panel is also installed.
01:44You spend a lot of money.
01:46But the purpose for which you have installed the solar panel is not being fulfilled.
01:51So you get disappointed that I have spent so much money,
01:54I have done everything and my work has not been done.
01:57This thing is not going on, that thing is not going on.
01:59So the solution I am going to give you now is the easiest solution.
02:04Which can give you a lot of benefit.
02:08It is possible that your 30, 40, 50,000 will be spent in the beginning.
02:11But if you get a bill of 300, 400 units,
02:14then maybe 50, 60 units will be left according to your consumption.
02:18Now, first of all, to convert to solar,
02:22a common man who does not have much knowledge,
02:25I will explain all these calculations in very simple words.
02:29So that they understand what they have to do.
02:31Now I take my example that there is a 120 amp battery in my house.
02:38Big battery, 24 plate or whatever its size is.
02:42It can be 100 in your house, it can be 150, it can be 180 amp.
02:46It does not make much difference.
02:48But I am talking about the maximum.
02:50Because at this time, the lead acid battery in people's houses is up to a maximum of 220 amps.
02:57The thing we have to take care of is that you buy a solar panel or install it.
03:04The one who runs the load of your house, fans, lights, etc.
03:10And your battery is also charged, which can give you backup at night.
03:15What do people do from the market?
03:17Just tell anyone to install a solar panel.
03:19They install a solar panel.
03:20Now what happens is that they have one fan, one light in the day.
03:23It is running with great difficulty.
03:24So he was not even charging the battery.
03:25Now at night he says that he does not get backup.
03:27This cannot happen.
03:28So whatever calculation I am going to explain to you,
03:31you have to understand it carefully.
03:33I will explain all these calculations to you in a very simple and easy way.
03:38I will explain it slowly.
03:40So that an ordinary person who is watching this video can understand
03:45how to calculate this and what is your requirement.
03:50So let's go to the board.
03:52First of all, let me tell you the calculation.
03:55How to convert the battery ampere into wattage so that we can move forward with it.
04:02Now let me tell you that I have a battery of 220 ampere in my house.
04:09Now we have to convert this 220 ampere into watt hour.
04:16So the formula to convert it into watt hour is basically
04:20watt hour is equal to voltage into capacity.
04:30The average voltage of the battery is 12 volts.
04:34And the capacity is written above.
04:37In my case, it is 220 volts.
04:39In your case, you can write according to the battery in your house.
04:44So when we multiply it, the total sum is 3640 watt hour.
04:53Okay.
04:55This is a very simple calculation.
04:58First of all, you have to calculate how to calculate the wattage of a 12-volt battery of 220 ampere.
05:08When you calculate this wattage, you are 100% sure that
05:13how much watt or ampere solar panel you need.
05:18Okay.
05:19This is our wattage.
05:21Now let's put it aside.
05:23This is our point number 1.
05:25This was the easiest.
05:27Okay.
05:28Now what happens is that when we calculate the watt hour,
05:32we need charging efficiency.
05:35What can be the charging efficiency?
05:37If it is 100% efficiency and the solar panel,
05:40let's say the efficiency of the solar panel is 80%,
05:46then efficiency is equal to 0.8%.
05:52That is, if you have made it 80% out of 100%,
05:59then it is 0.8% efficiency.
06:01If you consider 20% as wastage or loss,
06:07then the wattage and ampere of the solar panel decreases.
06:12That's why we didn't do 100%.
06:15We counted it as 80%.
06:18Okay.
06:19Now decide how much time you want to charge the battery.
06:26So the total wattage is 2640 watts.
06:31We call it watt hour.
06:34And divided by charging time.
06:38Let's say I want to charge it fully in 6 hours.
06:43Multiplied by the efficiency that we calculated 80%,
06:48which is 0.8,
06:50it becomes 550 watts.
06:55550 watts.
06:59This is the wattage that you have to buy in the market.
07:09It can be any company.
07:10It can be Canadian, Jinco, Longy.
07:12There are many other local brands.
07:15So the battery of 2640 watts,
07:19means the battery of 220 ampere,
07:22if you want to charge it with 80% efficiency in 6 hours,
07:27then you will need 550 watts.
07:30550 watts means that there is a solar panel of 550 watts.
07:36And it is giving you 80% efficiency.
07:40So the battery of 220 ampere will be charged in 6 hours.
07:45Okay.
07:46Now let me tell you one more thing.
07:48If you collect this 550 and put another 550 watt plate,
07:55then the charging time of 6 hours will be 3 hours.
08:00Are you understanding my point?
08:03This single 550 watt solar panel,
08:08took you 6 hours.
08:12If you wash these plates,
08:15then you can charge your 220 ampere battery in 3 hours.
08:19Okay.
08:21Now the thing is,
08:24these are all the calculations that you have to understand.
08:28All your games are based on this.
08:32Please note my point,
08:34that to charge a single 550 watt plate in 6 hours,
08:39with 80% efficiency,
08:42if you put two solar panels below it,
08:46then your 220 ampere battery will charge completely in 3 hours.
08:52What will happen if I tell you the benefit of that?
08:55Okay, let me tell you one more thing.
08:57Sorry, I forgot that.
08:59I have written this efficiency.
09:02What is that?
09:04Put a solar panel above it,
09:06and put two solar panels below it.
09:09Okay.
09:10People say,
09:11put a solar panel directly with your UPS battery.
09:15It works.
09:17But what happens is that,
09:19constantly,
09:20since the sun does not rise,
09:22like nowadays,
09:23it is 6 o'clock in the morning,
09:25from 6 o'clock in the morning,
09:26it will rise in the evening.
