00:00The Press You said just a minute ago that the President
00:03wants to turn the page on the last couple weeks and get to the other side of this, where
00:08the White House wants to.
00:10Has President Biden seen enough support over the last 36 hours from fellow Democrats in
00:16Congress to now start turning the page and look ahead?
00:20I mean, what's his reaction been to what he's seen since Congress has gotten back?
00:26I mean, it's very similar to how I answered the question to one of your colleagues.
00:30He's very much focused on what's ahead, right?
00:33He's very much focused.
00:34He has a fulsome, robust schedule the next two weeks that we laid out for all of you.
00:39He wants to focus on that, the messages that he wants to come out when he goes to Texas
00:43next week, when he goes to Vegas next week.
00:46He's going to be on the road on Friday as well.
00:50I also want to say he is proud of the Congressional Black Caucus, who said they have – he has
00:57their support.
00:58The Congressional Hispanic Caucus did the same, and other members of Congress, obviously.
01:05And so, look, he wants to move forward.
01:09As your colleague said, definitely unite the party, continuing to unite the party.
01:15We heard from Representative Meeks, who said the Democrats – the congressional Democrats
01:18came out of the meeting today united.
01:21I think that's important to note.
01:22But the President's going to move forward.
01:24He's going to move forward, and he's going to continue to go out there, engage – engage
01:29with the American public like you saw him do in Pennsylvania, and he's going to stay
01:33focused on that.
01:34Well, do you – does he feel like he's weathered the storm, so to speak?
01:37Look, I think that he is more determined than ever to continue to get the job done, to continue
01:45to build an economy that works for all, to continue to make sure that we have a middle
01:52class, right, that is strong, right, that we don't have a trickle-down economy, an
01:58economy that's built from the bottom up, middle out.
02:00That's what he wants to continue to do.
02:02I think this week, with the NATO summit, the 75th year of NATO, let's not forget NATO
02:08has helped to protect Americans and also protect the world, and what it's been able to do
02:13for the past 75 years.
02:14You're going to see the President engaging with 32 leaders of this alliance.
02:21I think that's really important.
02:22That's, again, on behalf of the American people, so he wants to do that.
02:26He has a lot on his mind, and as it deals with making sure we deliver for the American
02:31people, that's what he's going to focus on.
