Having looked through some of my old footage, I managed to find this old recording from one of the previous Guardian Angel events, sorry for the lack of videos, have had to cut back on recording due to University, but will try and do at least one a week.

00:00Hello everybody, and welcome to another episode of War Thunder.
00:03Now, as you can probably see from the scoreboard here, this is actually the Guardian Angel event.
00:08Not the one we just had, this was a much older one, the ones where the Germans generally did worse, although we did win this match.
00:18It was when the gunners had their quite good accuracy, I think, or it might have been just before it was increased a little bit.
00:27I can't quite remember, but it's quite an old recording. I'll have to find the date for when it was recorded.
00:33But as you can see, just in the ME410, just coming up onto Bomberstream, a little bit of chat about the Halton 229.
00:46Which is quite ironic, because now we do have the Halton 229.
00:53So, hopefully they'll add that into their own little event similar to this.
01:00One of the other things I wanted to talk about in this video, in case you missed it in my last video, is that I've gone back to university.
01:10That's why there hasn't been so many videos up lately. I am trying to get up as many as I can, I want to get at least one a week.
01:18But there will be a bit of a slowdown in how many videos I upload, which is one of the reasons I'm just going through the old videos.
01:29This one's quite short compared to some of my other videos, but I haven't really had time to record any new footage.
01:39So, going back through the old archive of what I've got, I'm probably going to skip, well, there's no point skipping now, we're only a few kilometers away.
01:50But yeah, that's why I didn't skip straight to the beginning of the battle, because I wanted to get that stuff out of the way.
01:54I'll try and get as many videos up as I can, but I can't make any promises. I'll try and get one a week though.
02:01We're just getting into the combat now. I hit the B-17, it didn't actually... oh, I knocked a gunner unconscious.
02:09I think you might have seen a bit of a... you know when you're shooting and you see it explode on the target and then it doesn't actually do anything.
02:18It's called sparkles, I think it's generally called on the forums.
02:21Now this beginning bit of the match I just did rubbish.
02:27You know, I just did awful. I mean, I got a few hits, but other than that I was just generally missing everything.
02:34But, you know, I've taken a bit of damage as well.
02:37I've only got a hit, I think I've got a Martel gunner, I can't really see because I'm doing this in Movie Maker and it's quite zoomed out.
02:45But yeah, I'm starting to get some hits on the enemy, but not really doing that much damage.
02:51Which is obviously, you know, unless I damage them enough to make them lose altitude, they're still going to reach their targets.
03:00But the rest of the team is doing well, we've wiped out some of the enemy bombers.
03:04The fighters aren't really interfering much.
03:10I'm sort of struggling to keep the Me-410 near the bomber formation because their right wing isn't really providing much lift.
03:19And it's obviously making things very hard for maneuvering.
03:23But I'm finally getting there, you can see B-17 falling out of the sky.
03:27This is when the... They'd recently patched it so if you could land on the airfield and get repaired it wouldn't count as a kill.
03:35So that's why it's not dead.
03:37That's actually quite important for the end bit of this because basically the last enemy aircraft is dead falling out of the sky.
03:45But because he's not actually dead, it doesn't count as a kill, well we couldn't really do anything about it.
03:53So now we're just trying to take out the last B-17, there's five of them.
03:56And this is where I start doing quite good, you can see I'm getting quite a few hits in now.
04:01You'll see the 50mm cannon not doing that good, I mean, I think this is with high explosive or a mix of high explosive and armor piercing.
04:10Now I've got the kill, well I didn't get the kill but I've shot him down.
04:14Got the kill there, just trying to come up on the last B-17 in front of us.
04:22Got another critical hit and knocked his tail off.
04:24So I've shot down three aircraft, only got the kill for one but basically shot down three aircraft.
04:32So we're trying to get in a position to shoot at this one, which isn't really working.
04:40I tried to shoot with my tail gun but I couldn't find out where it was.
04:44That's in it and I got the kill for my other aircraft.
04:47I'm not sure if I got the third kill, I think I might have but I can't quite remember.
04:51But yeah, I'm quite sharp by this point.
04:55The engines are quite damaged, I'm leaking fuel.
04:59Well no, it's so near the end of the game, it's not like I'm going to run out.
05:06It might have just been the B-17 falling quite near to us.
05:10So we're just chatting to some of the other team, or some of the rest of the guys in the team.
05:14We weren't sure where the last B-17 was because obviously where they weren't dying properly,
05:21it was making things rather complicated.
05:24So we're just searching for that last B-17.
05:29So I'm just trying to get down nearer to the ground because I'm expecting that's where
05:39he'll be.
05:40Plus I can't really climb anymore due to the damage to my aircraft.
05:43I think I'm about to lose my right engine.
05:50Going quite fast and climbing a little bit.
05:52I don't know if I'm...
05:53No, I'm diving now.
05:54I wasn't sure what I'd been intending to do, I was just trying to change some of the engine
06:01settings.
06:02Actually, I don't know if it was to do with one of the patches, but that doesn't seem
06:06to be working anymore.
06:08The controls for it seem to have gone a bit weird.
06:10And there's the last kill.
06:13Mission objective failed.
06:14I don't know why, but this mission seems to be glitched in that the objective never actually...
06:24You win the game, but it comes up as a fail.
06:26I don't really get what that's all about.
06:32So we won that game, pretty much.
06:35Just waiting for the scoreboard to go down now.
06:37You'll see in a second what my actual score was.
06:40It was pretty good, I got Terror of the Sky, bulletproof.
06:44So two very good awards there.
06:51Just skipping the loading screen.
06:52Game number one.
06:53Terror of the Sky, I know one's for shooting down the most enemy aircraft, and I think
06:58Terror of the Bulletproof is for shooting down the most aircraft, getting the most air
07:03kills as well.
07:04I did lose in the aircraft and destroyed more air targets for Bulletproof, and destroyed
07:08the most air targets for Terror of the Sky.
07:10So I did very well there.
07:12You can see I've got 3,500 RP, 32,000 lions, 3 kills, quite a few critical hits.
07:20Yeah, I did really good in that match.
07:22So yeah, just a quick match it was today, or quick video.

07:29of university, I haven't got as much time.
